Bonsai Business - Enterprise can be improved as sometimes the Elastic Cloud PaaS experience is a bit more hands-on than I expected.

By "more hands-on," I mean that I have to dig into areas I do not expect to investigate, such as fixing things. I expected it to be managed by Elastic, but it is not totally hands-off.

The upgrade from one version to another is always a problem, as they do not allow me to jump two versions using a rolling upgrade. Any particular version such as V1 does not allow me to have any index created in V1 or V1.2 version.

What do you like best about the product?

I like user friendly interface that is easy to understand. It provides complex data in a better formto understand. While it also helps for any analytical research on products, ofcourse i double verify data it provides but very much data is similar.

its pricing plan can get better, if you have large number of research on low budget to do then you need to understand your needs completely before buying a plan because maybe you need lower plan but bought a bigger ones so explaining data in paln section can also help a lot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its helping me do analysis of market by research, as its a search engine basically for only these type of things it has a large number of data to work on and it can be very specific, some times we do normal search an dwe get a cluster of random things too, but using bonsai we can be research specifc.

Setting it up was very easy, the modern interface and the documenation made this process easy. You have all the tools that you need in one space.

I haven't found anything wrong yet, everything runs smoothly

It helps improving our search capabilities by giving more acurate results. It is way easier now to filter and retrieve the data that we need which saves time

I personally have used Bonsai Search for increasing my company’s search capabilities. It is very fast to install, and I was able to launch a highly effective search engine on AWS even though I know little about Elasticsearch.

More experienced users such as myself could wish for more control over the configuration of the clusters. There are some performance tweaks I need to make but can’t because they are pre-configured and non adjustable.

Bonsai Search eliminates this burden all together, I am able to quickly and effectively stand up a truly robust search solution. This sends an indication to the server, hence the need for automated scaling and monitoring that does not require constant manual input.

Such large volumes of data often involves performance tradeoffs which are greatly reduced by using Bonsai Search within the tech stack implemented to achieve better outcome.

The best thing I like as the end user in bonsai search is that fast search performance.Ot allows me to quickly retrieve the results even for a large data sets.

I don't see any dienside in bonsai search, whereas it involves a deep learning curve and hands on experience to understanding the features
