Promising Alternative, but the Learning Curve Didn’t Fit Our Aerospace Timelines
Reviewed on Sep 10, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Actually, I tried Octave as part of a testing phase to use it as a reliable alternate to another quality software that we were using. We had to reject it at the time due the existing software being better. Not tailored for our use in aerospace sector.
What do you dislike about the product?
High cost for a pivot was not a huge issue, but, the one of my review point was that it would take time to learn the system. the time taken to unlearn our current system and to learn octave would cause production timeline issues for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not benefiting us all since we decided not to use it. Some of the positives that I suggested during my review was that the t would avoid the use of many auxiliary software’s that we use. Like software’s for report creation and all.

A Flexible Platform for Process Management
Reviewed on Aug 20, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Octave Reliance is how it centralizes and organizes information in a structured way. This makes it easier to manage processes, track compliance, and maintain visibility into what’s happening across the organization. The platform also helps standardize workflows, so it’s clearer what actions need to be taken and who is responsible for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main area I think could be improved is the user experience. Some features and configuration options are less intuitive than I’d expect, and certain processes take several steps to complete. More flexibility, along with simpler and more straightforward configuration choices, would make the platform easier to use and easier to adopt across different areas of the organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Octave Reliance helps us centralize and standardize our processes, which reduces the need for manual controls and eliminates scattered information across different tools. It also improves traceability by making responsibilities and actions clearer and more visible. Overall, it gives us better control over compliance and process performance, saves time, improves data reliability, and provides greater visibility to support decision-making.

It simplifies document control, change management, CAPA, audits, training, and supplier quality, making it much easier to maintain compliance and traceability. The configurable workflows and automation reduce manual administration, improve efficiency, and ensure tasks are completed on time. I also appreciate the flexibility of the system, which can be tailored to suit different business processes without extensive programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawbacks are the learning curve for new users, occasional complexity in workflows, and limited flexibility when creating reports and dashboards. A more modern user interface and faster navigation would improve the overall experience.

I like Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) because it is a codeless platform, which saves time, speeds up processes, and makes administrative adjustments easier. The initial setup was pretty good, and I didn't encounter many problems. Additionally, it connects well with enterprise tools like ERP and MES.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the high enterprise cost and limited functionality of Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) to be problematic. It would be helpful to have modular pricing transparency and more streamlined no-code configurations.

Streamlined Quality Management in One Configurable Platform
Reviewed on Jul 28, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) is how it brings key quality management processes together in a single platform. The workflow automation for document control, CAPA, audits, and change management cuts down on manual work and helps teams operate more efficiently. It’s also very configurable, so organizations can tailor workflows to their specific needs without extensive coding, which makes compliance and overall quality tracking much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and dashboard customization feel limited and often require extra configuration to get them where I need them. Some workflows also take too much manual setup before they’re truly ready to use. Integration with other systems can be challenging and may require additional development work. Search and filtering could be faster, especially when I’m working with large volumes of data. Overall performance can slow down when handling complex workflows or larger datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me manage quality processes in one place, which keeps my work more organized and easier to follow. It also automates approvals and workflows, saving time and cutting down on manual effort. On top of that, it makes it simpler to track issues and maintain compliance with both company requirements and industry standards.

Highly Customizable, Intuitive Workflows with Designer Mode and Octave Script
Reviewed on Jul 22, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The customizability, and the overall capability to almost build anything in terms of fluid workflows. Especially the designer mode is very handy to use with various features like the form designer, easy drag and drop with no coding required, and most importantly the ability to hide and show whichever forms I want. Furthermore, using Octave Script for some advanced functions works seamlessly. Overall, the mental model is very intuitive similar to data processing apps like Excel (where I can do things visually but also can write scripts when I want)
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes become needlessly complex, for example its ability to do anything can sometimes be used by organizations or people to over-engineer things and even simple things can take 3 times longer. Being an engineer, the UI works fine for me, but it can be a tad of a learning curve for someone with no tech background like business majors in my company and to them the UI can seem a little clunky as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, if I am stuck dealing with a bunch of spreadsheets, chasing people for CAPA updates, and worrying about my next audit, Octave Reliance just brings all that into one place. Instead of wasting time on manual paperwork and admin tasks, it handles the tracking for you with workflows that fit how your team actually works. It gets me through audits without the usual panic, I like its real time integration the best. So overall, it helps organize better for me and catches mistakes before they turn into actual problems.
