Login using 'ec2-user' and ssh public key authentication. Root partition and filesystem extends automatically during boot if instance volume is bigger than the default 8 GiB one. This CentOS 10 Minimal (CentOS 10) AMI has cloud-init included. In this CentOS 10 Minimal (CentOS 10) image ENA is enabled. All CentOS 10 Minimal (CentOS 10) security updates available at the release date are included.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers is for testing our non-production applications in our company, and we are using it for our applications that use ERP systems.
A specific example of how I use CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers with one of our ERP systems is that I work with a development team in deploying their applications for our customer. Before we do that, we start by deploying it on our virtualized or hosted environments here in my company, and then we install the application directly to CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers. After that, we work with the development team to configure it on CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers and make sure that it runs properly before we configure it with our next environment, which is pre-prod, then production, and after that, the last part is the go-live.
I use CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers mostly only in our non-production environment, and we are using it side-by-side because in our production environment, we are using the Red Hat operating system. Since they have the same architecture and features, we utilize CentOS 10 (CentOS 10) with support by ProComputers because it is open source and free.

Currently, packages land continuously in stream as they are ready, serving as a moving preview for the upcoming Red Hat Enterprise Linux minor releases, which can pose a risk of breaking third-party proprietary software or custom scripts that expect rigid stability. Therefore, there needs to be improvement in bridging the gap between rapid updates and enterprise requirements and a maturation of the community.
