What do you like best about the product?

The easiness of creating and sending recurring invoices

What do you dislike about the product?

Error messages are vague and hard to understand what the issue might be

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is leading to better and more timely invoicing, along with the AR reports, is leading to a small balance on our AR and payments are coming in more timely

What do you like best about the product?

I like the dimensions and output reports in Sage Intacct. They are particularly helpful because we can efficiently get reimbursements from grants by generating data dump reports and using pivot tables to filter by accounts and dimensions.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish the report periods were more flexible in Sage Intacct. It would be great if we could choose a start and end date rather than having to select from a fixed period. It would be helpful if in the columns section of the financial reports there was an option for a custom start and end date of the reporting period. Also, the initial setup of Sage Intacct was not easy because we did not have a good implementation team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage Intacct helps us efficiently get reimbursements from grants by providing data dump reports and using pivot tables to filter by accounts and dimensions.

What do you like best about the product?

Financial reporting. Being able to pull reports for the same company by different dimensions, allows us to discover any miscoding's and helps insure 100% accuracy in our statements.

What do you dislike about the product?

Lack of responsiveness from our account representative. We’re interested in setting up ACH payments through Sage, which is a service that’s available, but we need a little guidance to get it set up correctly. We've reached out to our account manager and haven’t heard back.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a multi entity company. Intacct has made the process simple. Also we are able to have more detail reporting on labor, by using cost centers.

What do you like best about the product?

Sage Intacct has significantly improved our ability to track and manage expense with greater accuracy. I particularly value its ability to store and link supporting documentation, which helps streamline processes and audit preparation. Additionally, the availability of third-party integrations allows us to extend the platform's functionality and address a variety of organizational needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

One of the primary challenges has been the training and onboarding experience. The added cost associated with additional modules can be difficult to justify without sufficient guidance and support. We have experienced challenges with integration and implementation, and some aspects of the onboarding process remain ongoing even after several years of use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage Intacct helps centralize and streamline our financial processes by improving expense tracking, reporting accuracy and overall accounting efficiency. For our nonprofit organization, it provides better visibility into financial data while also enabling us to securely store and access supporting documentation.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that I can drill down into the reports and view the individual transactions for the specific period I’m reviewing.

What do you dislike about the product?

Creating reports can be pretty difficult. There are so many parameters that it’s easy to get lost in the process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has helped me go paperless with the entries I post. It also makes the audit process much easier when I need to pull supporting documentation.

What has been most helpful thus far in our use with Sage Intacct is its ability for customization, especially across reporting and departmental dashboards.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes there are fields that are not necessary in the standard journal entry screen that clutter the interface. Also for a non-profit, while the product is very robust, it is an expensive accounting solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are starting to utilize automation, especially in the bank reconciliations process. Have the ability to connect our bank statement to Intacct and run logic rules for clearing transactions are starting to prove a true time saving effort.

What do you like best about the product?

Ease of use, online platform, reporting, dashboards, collaboration ability

What do you dislike about the product?

Vendor profiles and links to applicable vendor ledgers, everything is module based for add-ons, number of licenses required and pricing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I do not know if it is solving any problems for our association. Possibly the fact that non-accounting staff can view financial data is useful.

What do you like best about the product?

It is cloud-based, all reporting is exportable, and it has the ability to support many APIs.

The user interface is well defined, and it allows for easy access.

The support team was extremely helpful in helping to create certain reporting and adjusting some work flows.

Provides adequate user preferences and roles to create segregation of duties.

Pricing is a good value for the number of users.

What do you dislike about the product?

Reporting and documents can be complicated to set up. Constructing the framework necessary to create the reports is essential

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Intacct allows for a very smooth month-end close.

What do you like best about the product?

Custom financial reports, dashboards, and drill-down capabilities save significant time. I can report by department, location, project, or fund without creating thousands of GL accounts. I find our GL has simplified after implementation.

What do you dislike about the product?

Reporting has a learning curve. Some reporting capabilities have required we pay an outside consultant to write for us. The largest complaint we have about Sage Intacct is the customer service model. Calling a 800 line and waiting in queue to speak to a representative that does not know me or my business is not ideal in the line of business we are in. Sage Intacct could learn from their peers and other 3rd parties here.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automated dashboards have eliminated spreadsheets outside the Business Office which has made department collaboration highly improved.

Reduced close time by automating recurring entries, allocations, consolidations, and reconciliations.

What do you like best about the product?

The UI interface is easy to navigate and can be customized. Sage has been very reliable, only a few times has it been down and it isn't down for long. We don't use AI for purchasing or AP but Sage has helped us to get the approvals in the system instead of outside of the system and that has been a time saver. We use are VAR support more than the Sage support but when we have gone to Sage for support or when our VAR did for an issue we are having and they couldn't fix it, it can take a little bit to get answers on some issues but overall support is about a day turnaround. The project billing area has improved our billing to customers because we can bill by billing rates or by cost with a mark up.

What do you dislike about the product?

One improvement the purchasing approvals could use, would be to be able to send reminders that something is waiting for approval. The invoice templates in word could be better, using merged fields I get but finding the right field and getting things to line up or group similar lines could be better. We currently have a couple other Sage products SEM and Sage Forms & Flows that are integrated with Sage Intacct and we have had a few issues with what we were expecting and what could actually be done within the price of the software. In Sage the tasks are part of the project so there is a relationship between the two but then when you use third party products (SEM, Limelight, etc.) it doesn't map up and there is a a lot more manual work to update or main the relationships. Budgets in Sage are not easy to see, delete, or update if needed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage is working on AI Intelligence which we are not currently using. They are also acquiring more third party software like SEM so we can have better expense management for credit cards and reimbursable expenses. SEM has benefited us but again there is some manual maintain because dimensions/fields don't flow over as easy as you would think.
