What do you like best about the product?

Sage Intacct is a cloud-based financial management platform that provides strong accounting controls, advanced reporting, and multi-dimensional financial analysis for organizations with complex reporting needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main drawback of Sage Intacct is its learning curve for advanced reporting and custom configurations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage Intacct enables us to track financial activity by entity, fund, department, and phase code, making budgeting, grant reporting, and financial reconciliation more efficient and reliable.

What do you like best about the product?

Its an easy platform to use. support is always at the ready. the platform performs very well and quickly. ROI is very good for the company.

What do you dislike about the product?

AI is hard or confusing to use. Integrations aren't used very much for us, they are harder to apply to sage.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Providing an easier interface than our previous software.

What do you like best about the product?

Dynamic allocations allow us to spread expenses with a click, rather than using large excel files and tedious calculations.

What do you dislike about the product?

The financial reporting in Sage is antiquated. The report builder could be much easier to use and the report layouts are fine by accountants to review, but not something you'd want to give to the board.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage allowed us to track payroll in detail while putting limitations on who can view it. It also automated intercompany to/from and indirect expense charge-outs.

What do you like best about the product?

Strong multi-entity management and dimensional reporting capabilities, complemented by powerful automation features such as Bank Feeds and comprehensive import templates for almost every transaction type.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing significant to dislike about Sage. The main area for improvement would be Bank Feed updates, auto-matching accuracy, and a more streamlined direct-entry functionality from bank transactions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sage Intacct is solving several key challenges for us, including multi-entity financial management, consolidated reporting, and manual data-entry processes. The platform provides strong dimension-based reporting, allowing us to analyze financial data from multiple perspectives without maintaining complex account structures.

What I like about Sage Intacct is that it automates accounting processes, supports efficient bulk imports, is cloud-based, and provides powerful reporting and a reliable audit trail. It helps save time and improves efficiency once it's set up correctly.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I don't like about Sage Intacct is that it can be difficult to learn, error messages can be confusing, and troubleshooting import or configuration issues can be time-consuming. Some processes also feel slower and more complicated than they should be.

Sage Intacct helps solve business problems by automating manual accounting tasks, reducing data entry errors, improving financial reporting, speeding up transaction processing, and providing real-time financial information for better decision-making.

User-friendly, easy to navigate, with a helpful Help section.

What do you dislike about the product?

Limited customization, Cost, integration issues (Corporate Card).

Usage of financial dimension (Vendor Code in All JE's type for Expense line item), help us tracking of vendor wise P&L reporting.

intuitive design, good price, good support, AI isnt great, performance isnt great, integration is good

the AI features and the perfomance can be lacklustre

What do you like best about the product?

I use Sage Intacct for accounting, and it significantly streamlines the processes for journal entries, cutting the time by half. I am also able to easily code certain CSVs to automate entries, with small tasks requiring very little time. The setup was not stressful but very convenient, allowing me to switch over and do other immediate tasks with ease.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think opening applications as its own page could allow for better use, and will allow for easier step-by-step instructions. I would also like to view the history of previous work up to the past 7 days.

Sage Intacct streamlines the process for journal entries, significantly reducing the time by half. It allows me to easily code CSVs to automate entries, making small tasks require very little time.

What do you like best about the product?

I think Sage Intacct is straightforward and easy to work with. It's not complex, which I really appreciate.

What do you dislike about the product?

Would be great if the accounts payable reconciliation could be done automatically.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Sage Intacct for accounts payable reconciliations, marking invoices as paid, and filing the 1099 with Tax Bandits, which is super helpful.
