Top-Level Reporting and Consolidations That Save Time

Top Level entity reporting and consolidations allow for efficient reporting and time savings across the business

Difficult setting up Management Accounts Reports with Account Groups but once set up you do not have to do this again

What do you like best about the product?
It has solid bookkeeping capabilities for a medium-sized business, and the features users need every day are easy to access so they can complete their tasks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integration issues came up during setup. The main drawbacks are the concerns and potential future complications that could arise when extending your accounting needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows bank transactions to sync smoothly, making daily reconciliation easy.
AI Invoice Uploading and an Easy UI Make Sage Intacct a Win
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite features of Sage Intacct are the AI invoice uploading feature and access to Sage Community. I like that uploading invoices via AI removes a lot of the data entry piece, and Community is helpful for when I have to assist members of my organization with support tickets. The software performs very well, and the overall user interface is easy to understand, even for a lay person without accounting knowledge. We have multiple departments across the organization that must use the software, so I especially appreciate the accessibility and functionality of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The error messages aren't the most helpful. I would prefer there be a more drilled down explanation of certain errors, perhaps with links to resources within Community explaining them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have trimmed a lot of time out of our AP data entry as it relates to invoice entry thanks to AI. We are also in the process of using some of the reporting and dashboard features to enable outside departments to access their financial data in real time. These are functions that wouldn't have been possible using our previous software.
Feature-Rich accounting tool with Powerful AI Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sage Intacct is feature rich, which allows me to handle accounting and billing all in one place. Its new AI features are particularly helpful for automating tasks and reducing daily work. Additionally, I appreciate the great UI and infrastructure, which make my work easy. All my data remains accurate and accessible, and I can generate various types of ad hoc reports for analysis. The initial setup was very easy, so I rate it 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when the tools go in maintenance it takes long time, that can be reduced. The new AI features and automations can be done to improve and enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct for billing and as a data storage tool. It helps keep all financial data accurate and accessible, supports generating various reports, and automates tasks with AI features, reducing daily workload.

Reporting customization can also require extra time to set up. Additionally, there are times when system performance or response times can slow down during high-volume tasks, and resolving issues may require multiple support interactions.

Powerful Automation, Great Visibility, and Easy Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
It has so much capability and automation, which is fantastic given we were in Sage50 before, which is limited in functionality. It will give us greater control and visibility, which is vital. It has really good integration across the platform and with our other softwares. The user interface is really easy tp use and navigate. The support and onboarding has been tough but really good, we have had a lot of support from our implementation partner (Baker Tilly), which has been massively valuable. The pricing is actually very reasonable too and comparable with other similar products, which means out ROI is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a hell of a lot of work to get it implemented and embedded, which takes an enormous amount of headspace. It is also odd that there isn't a direct automated way of taking data out of Sage50 into Intacct as they are both Sage products. That could certainly do with being improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Day to day performance is so much faster than it previously was. The team can move through day to day transactions in a much quicker way that in Sage 50. The inbuild AI and intelligence is really helpful and leads to a quicker resolution to problems than previously.
Easy-to-Use Sage UI That Keeps Complex Accounting Workflows Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
What I mainly like about Sage is its user interface, because it’s very easy to identify the fields and carry out the required activities. I’ve been using Sage for the last 2.5 years, and I’m very satisfied with it. In my previous client, I worked mostly on AR and GL, where I did an automation related to deferred revenue with 1000’s of line items. This helped us solve the issue of maintaining huge Excel files for the schedules. I’ve currently moved to AP and I’m continuing to learn more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt the only issue I faced was on the reporting side. On the front end, pulling reports and selecting dates is very good. However, on the back end, the reporting customization feels a bit outdated, and it’s very difficult to understand the fields and implement them properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest help for me has been with multi-entity accounting—especially intercompany entries, balance checks, and multi-currency postings. These are very good features that I really liked. I also worked on DR automation, which was successful. Along with that, I’ve seen Avalara and Bill.com integrations with Sage as well.

Intuitive and Feature-Rich—Helps Us Consolidate Systems
What do you like best about the product?
The system is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes it simple to learn on my own. At the Sage conference, I discovered a lot of useful features that should replace some of the systems we’re currently using and help us consolidate more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are still some industries where Sage isn’t particularly strong yet, so it’s not really designed for every industry. That said, for the specific industries it does support well, it can be very beneficial. I also wish the basic package included more features, instead of having to purchase additional features individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel like Sage is shifting from doing the work to reviewing it. I agree that AI will replace a lot of jobs, potentially almost all of them, but I think we’re reaching a point where AI should handle most of the “doing,” while humans focus more on reviewing.
