Best out there for dev
What do you like best about the product?
10 years support from the community.
It really helps for corporate dev environment as OS is not something people like to change easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
The support of hardware drivers is still the same as the basic version.
Ubuntu works best for most of the devices but sometimes it fails to deliver drivers for some. I couldn't find anything new in Ubuntu Pro regarding that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The LTS in Pro is providing 10 years of support which is actually cool. This thing can be compared to MacOSX as developers don't like to change or tweak with the OS regularly.
I am also a developer.

Even though support for codecs is present all media wont play smoothly by default, sometimes you would need to really test the things to make it actually work..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces software costs as it is really cheap. Linux works for servers the best. Availability for specific development software is much better on Linux compared to Windows servers.

Linux made easy !! Ubuntu LTS checks all the boxes !!!
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Pro LTS is designed for long-term use and is supported for up to ten years, providing users with a stable and reliable operating system. It includes many security features, including secure boot and AppArmor profiles. It also provides regular security updates and patches to keep your system safe. LTS ensures long-term developer support and ensures forward compatibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the major disadvantages of Ubuntu Pro is the limited choices of custom applications. Major design and creative software titles only exist for Windows/Mac OSs. The Linux OS also has very poor implementation of Directx/Game centric drivers which limit its ability to support the latest game titles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Ubuntu is a versatile operating system that can be used for a wide range of cloud computing applications, from virtual machines and containers to IaaS and PaaS platforms and DevOps workflows. Its flexibility, stability, and security make it an attractive option for organizations running applications and services in the cloud. Quick implementation of Virtual Machines using Ubuntu as a base image gives us access to containers by using popular container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD. Containers provide an efficient and lightweight way to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.

New features introduced to work with Microsoft Azure
What do you like best about the product?
Compatibility with Microsoft Azure, additional security with updates and management tool to execute bulk Linux operations. User friendly, built-in unlimited security.
What do you dislike about the product?
A significant negative impact of ubuntu is the limited availability of software in the market. Sometimes, installing software packages on Ubuntu also creates a big mess in systems because those might not be fully compatible or working after the installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently we started designing new applications that provide e-commerce services to users as Shopify does. For that, we need three servers that handle accounts and customer support & online transaction details, store products, databases, and administration roles. I use Ubuntu Pro 18.04 LTS for all such work for fast working and minimizing latency. This project is under development and I use Ubuntu Pro 18.04 LTS to crate & handle three servers virtually.

Entrepreneurially, it is one of the best versions
What do you like best about the product?
I like several features implemented for enterprise needs, such as long-term support and security updates plus it is optimized for cloud workloads and is compatible with a wide range of cloud platforms our company is working to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like its learning curve because it is an advanced Linux distribution designed for users with a certain level of technical experience; they may find it a bit complex.
Still, some devices are not fully compatible with the distribution, which causes problems for some users.
