Effortless SOC 2 Compliance with Intruder
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Intruder for its ease of implementation and straightforward setup process, which made it hassle-free to begin using the software without encountering any unexpected challenges or surprises. I find its proactive penetration testing capabilities incredibly useful for ensuring SOC 2 compliance, as it provides the necessary intrusion detection system features to effectively test our internal product. Additionally, the low cost of Intruder makes it a cost-effective choice for our organization, allowing us to achieve compliance without financial strain. The combination of its affordable pricing, ease of use, and effective security solutions makes Intruder a valuable asset, leading me to rate it a perfect ten and highly recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not any downside given the way that we are using it.

Intruder ensures our SOC 2 compliance with its intrusion detection system and proactive penetration testing, enhancing our security posture cost-effectively.
Intuitive, Well-Integrated, and Proactive Security Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Intruder's easy-to-use interface and seamless integration with our tools like Jira and Cloudflare. The intuitive design simplifies complex security tasks, and the helpful, friendly support is invaluable. I value their proactive security approach, protecting our production systems effectively. Network and subdomain discovery features are excellent, enhancing overall security. Additionally, the positive energy of the team and company size are reasons I'd prefer them over larger corporations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Intruder for proactive security, preventing issues with orphaned network machines. Its intuitive integration with tools like Jira enhances security, while network and subdomain discovery aids in monitoring interactions.
Simple and effective security tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, clear reports, and helpful automated scans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports are a bit generic and integrations could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder helps us identify security vulnerabilities early and automatically, so we can fix issues before they become serious. This improves our overall security posture, saves time for the team, and gives peace of mind that critical systems are monitored.
Very good service, nice customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and super useful service. The UI is really nice, easy to set up even though what it does super complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was an option for a payed single scan instead of a monthly subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a report about how vulnerable our platform is.
Easy to set up, easy to integrate, great customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is super simple. From experience with vulnerability scanners the config can sometimes be made to feel more complex than it needs to be. However Intruder is painless. I've also raised a few questions with the customer support team and the comms are always, fast, to the point. Other SaaS security providers could take note. It's also significantly cheaper than alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are dealing with an incredibly large number of different resource types the interface and filters may be somewhat restrictive but for most SME and enterprise it's perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a low cost, easy to use full scope scanner. It solves a lot of problems. There really isn't any reason to get this stuff wrong as it's made super easy and with in reach for any business.
Intruder is a perfect CVE Scanner for enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the design of the Webinterface and how easy it works with the tenable Nessus Agent.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I noticed is that when I tried to add an Agent to a Mac Device and linked the agent to intruder it unlinked itself after a while but after the second linking it stayed linked for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will be our cve scanner for all our systems to detect vulnerablilities. It will help us get the ISO 27001 Certification.
1 week from POC to go-live
What do you like best about the product?
It took us 1 week from starting the POC until go live and be able to scan internal Targets. Dan help us with all required tests and the commercial side. Support answered really fast when there were issues or questions!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to mention so far. A few more features in terms of time zone would be nice but we worked around this by using the API and Tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a quick and easy to manage solution which Intruder can deliver on.
Small teams greatest helper
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder stands out for its ease of use, its clean, intuitive interface means I can start a scan or review results without wasting time navigating complex menus. Getting set up was quick and straightforward, with minimal configuration required to get it running effectively. Despite its simplicity, it offers a rich set of features, from comprehensive vulnerability scanning to easy rescan options, which makes it a perfect fit for frequent use. The platform integrates smoothly with our workflow, so running scans, reviewing results, and taking action feels seamless rather than disruptive to daily operations. Additionally, the Customer Support has been some of the best, they respond within the hour of your request and can schedule meetings for discussion the next day if needed. Also the CSMs automatically schedule meetings to check up and update you about new tools they released.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I’ve noticed is that scan times can occasionally be longer than expected, especially during peak usage periods. It’s not a dealbreaker, but quicker turnaround would make the process even smoother when dealing with time-sensitive issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest challenge as a small security team is keeping up with the constant stream of potential threats and vulnerabilities across our environment. Intruder helps us overcome this by automating the discovery, prioritization, and tracking of security issues, allowing us to stay on top of our IT security without becoming overwhelmed. It pinpoints vulnerabilities that would have taken us days to identify manually, and provides clear, actionable remediation steps that save us valuable time. The ability to quickly rescan after fixes means we can validate our work immediately, ensuring risks are addressed before they can be exploited. This efficiency not only improves our security posture but also frees up our team to focus on other critical initiatives.
Intruder for Vulnerability Scanning
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to configure to include all cloud resources in both AWS and Azure to ensure vulnerability issues are identified and considered in a timely manner. Added benefit of application scanning through addition of credentials for application login to perform a level of penetration testing too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can have a number of false positives - but these can be easily tagged as noise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping on top of vulnerabilities across our cloud infrastructure and applications. Ease of using a single pane of glass across both AWS and Azure (that we use) as well running application security.
Quick setup and ease of use.
What do you like best about the product?
The system is quick to understand and easy to implement systems. It's an intuitive layout and you can have scans running in minutes. The customer support has been quick to help and you're talking to real people who understand the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial pricing is a lot for smaller implementations to start off with and only really makes sense with some scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder helps us to manage our exposure externally on all varieties of systems we support. We also use the system internally to scan our production environments whether that might Linux or Windows based.
