Git Client and DevEx Platform
What do you like best about the product?
✅ GitKraken offers a visually rich and technically robust suite of Git tools designed to streamline source control workflows for individuals and teams. The core GitKraken Desktop client stands out for its commit graph visualization, making it straightforward to interpret complex branching and merging histories. The UI is modern and intuitive, supporting both dark and light themes, and provides drag-and-drop actions for operations like merge, rebase, and push, which simplifies intricate Git commands into accessible interactions.
✅ The platform supports seamless integrations with major Git hosting services including GitHub, GitLab (and self-hosted), Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps. This enables direct repository management, pull request creation, and code review workflows without context switching between tools. The built-in code editor features syntax highlighting, diff split view, and search capabilities, allowing for quick edits and conflict resolution within the same environment.
✅ GitKraken’s multi-profile support is useful for managing work and personal projects separately. The tool also includes advanced Git features such as Gitflow, Git Hooks, LFS, and submodule management, catering to more complex repository requirements. What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for advanced features can be noticeable, especially when configuring integrations or leveraging enterprise-level capabilities such as custom workflows and Git hooks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitKraken has centralized and streamlined my Git workflows, reducing friction in daily version control tasks. Visualizing branch structures and commit histories in a single, interactive graph has made it easier to understand project evolution and resolve conflicts.
The direct integration with remote repositories and pull request management has minimized context switching and manual steps, leading to more efficient code reviews and collaboration.
The inclusion of Glo Boards and real-time issue tracking has enabled my team to coordinate development tasks alongside source control, improving transparency and reducing reliance on separate project management tools. The ability to manage multiple profiles and repositories from a unified interface has simplified handling both personal and organizational projects.

Amazing software for managing my git repositories
What do you like best about the product?
I have used GitLens a lot in my daily environment. It is very easy to implement and integrate with git repositories and has plenty of features, for managing my git history. It has helped me debug what code has reverted things who has contributed what and in which PR. It's indeed an amazing tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing, the only thing to improve could be to make it more beginner-friendly, to understand things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me understand who in my organization has made what changes, which is beneficial especially for me being in a startup, where interns do most of the code and their are lesser comments.
A powerful and user-friendly git client for businesses.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility and cross-platform compatibility of GitKraken. We have developers all over the world who use different types of machines and it still works great. It is easy to use, and setup, and we use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a little slow, and it also there are some things that I wish were more customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives my team and I a git Client to use.
