Cisco Content Security Management Appliance M300v

The Cisco Security Management Appliance simplifies administration by publishing configurations from a single management console to multiple Cisco web security appliances. You can manage updates and settings centrally on the Cisco SMA console rather than on the individual appliances

    Cisco SMA M300V Review

    Reviewed on Feb 03, 2022
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to duplicate and store email messages from Cisco ESA (Email Security Appliance) to SMA (Security Management Appliance) and also to apply policy to those emails before re-releasing it to user emails. The appliance's configuration simpilicity and granularity makes it unique.
What do you dislike about the product?
The size of hard disk must be allocated carefully as it fills up very easy and you will get a full hard disk if not careful. And then when the admin released the emails from SMA to ESA, we cannot see who is responsible for the email release off the shelf, there is a way but you need to use CLI and need technical digging which I think is quite challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping my clients to store and analyze emails that is categorized does not comply with the company policy easily. SMA can help you do that rather than just using ESA on its own.
