Clean, High-Performance Platform with Fair Pricing and Strong Support
What do you like best about the product?
The solution itself is very clean and clear. The functions are easy to understand and change ourselves. The support is generally really good and even the sales teams are clear and don't try to trick you into anything.
You can integrate your SSO solution so saving stress with user names and passwords, and the performance of the system is really good. We've never had an issue with platform performance.
The pricing is fair and for us, the increased compliance for our security standards is excellent. They have implemented an AI system for support and some other bits. It's good so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I’ve found so far is the support around specific integration issues. For example, with Sophos Intercept X, there aren’t clear instructions for implementing Sophos in Iru. I understand the reasoning behind that, but it still doesn’t necessarily help us as a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru has transformed how we manage our Apple devices, giving us a clear understanding of our devices, updates, and the users across our systems. The assignment maps have been a great update, making it easier to manage things in a more granular way.
Intuitive Blueprinting and Smooth Apple Device Onboarding with Iru
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Iru is the combination of its blueprinting functionality and overall ease of use. The platform is very intuitive, which makes managing Apple devices accessible even without a dedicated IT team.
The blueprinting feature allows us to standardize configurations, security settings, and applications across all devices with minimal effort. This not only improves consistency, but also saves us a significant amount of time in day-to-day management.
Onboarding new users is also very smooth. The enrollment process is straightforward, and users can simply log in with their Microsoft 365 credentials. Within an hour, devices are fully configured and ready to use, creating a seamless experience for both IT and end users.
Overall, Iru strikes a strong balance between usability, automation, and efficient onboarding for our Mac-only environment.
Coming from no prior solution, the investment initially feels significant. However, we strongly believe that a well-implemented MDM solution is essential nowadays, both from a security and operational perspective.

What do you dislike about the product?
The initial implementation requires some time and effort, especially if you have general IT affinity but not a deep technical background. Setting up integrations (such as with Microsoft Entra ID) and properly configuring blueprints can involve a fair amount of trial and error.
That said, it is definitely manageable. Iru provides solid documentation and tutorials, and their live chat support is very responsive and helpful when you run into issues.
One area for improvement would be offering more structured implementation support. For example, an optional paid onboarding or guided setup service could help organizations get up and running faster and with more confidence, especially those without a dedicated IT team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Iru, we didn’t have a centralized way to manage and secure our Apple devices. Device setup was largely manual, which made onboarding time-consuming and increased the risk of inconsistencies in configurations and security settings.
Iru solves this by providing a structured and automated way to manage our entire device fleet. With blueprints and automated policies, we can ensure that every device is configured consistently and meets our security standards from the start.
This has significantly improved our onboarding process — new employees can be up and running within an hour — and reduced the time spent on ongoing device management. It also gives us much better control and visibility over our environment, which is essential from both an operational and security perspective.
For a small consultancy without a dedicated IT department, this has made a noticeable difference in efficiency and reliability.

Effortless Device Management with Iru
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Iru changes a lot, adding a lot of applications with big categories available. It offers a very easy-to-use platform that's easy to configure, smart, and agile. The automated device enrollment works great right out of the box, making it amazing for IT and companies working with MacBooks. I also find it a very secure way to set up and remotely manage devices, allowing for easy removal or wiping if needed. Using Iru's API to pull and push data is very convenient, enhancing the integration capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any other systems, they have issues with stuff, things that are missing. In the past, they lacked reports, but now it's much better. Today, the Windows side is not good enough, but I'm sure they will improve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iru for managing all my devices in the organization. It’s an easy-to-use and configure platform, very smart and agile, especially for IT with a Mac fleet.
An MDM with a Fast, Intuitive WebConsole That Simplifies Apple Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about iru is the ease of use interface that is the iru WebConsole. everything is laid out in a logical fashion, so that an administrator can quickly find and get to, 90% of the tasks that they need to just after logging in.The webconsole is fast to load, and navigating through it is quick and effortless. iru also allows me to group devices into filtered views, so that i can quickly navigate to groups of users to view information on each group/ department, and in their individual records i can see their activity, current state of connectability, and what applications are assigned to each device, helping to remediate issues faster. Support is also robust, with chat support being easy to connect to an Agent and get help right away when I need it. I definitely feel like the value of the product and my ROI are equal.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only two downsides to iru are the Device limit being in packs of 25, and not in smaller increments such as five or ten. Our organization is not that large, so we are more adept at having to add smaller amounts of users than large amounts. My other concern is that iru, in adding features and other capabilities, may not remain core to what makes it great : Apple Device Managment done right. But we will see what the future holds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iru is solving our ability to get users onboarded and up and running within 24 hours, which use to take us up to 3 days to do so.
Faster, More Secure User Onboarding with Iru
What do you like best about the product?
Iru has helped us improve our user onboarding experience by making the process faster and more efficient. It also ensures that secure profiles are installed on devices, helping us maintain security at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few areas where the AI capabilities could be more helpful, especially when it comes to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management of our Mac devices - huge benefit ensuring that apps can be installed automatically
Streamlined Mac Management with Robust Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like Iru's user interface because it's very straightforward, making the software easy to understand despite being quite powerful. It's great for coordinating with my ISV and outside IT consultant because they can access everything they need. I also appreciate that if there's ever an issue, I can log in to Iru and identify the specific computer or IP address causing the problem, which helps in coordinating with my IT service provider and cybersecurity consultant.
What do you dislike about the product?
It really only works well with Apple systems, like Macs and iPhones. We have one user with an Android phone, and it's cheaper for us to replace her phone with an iPhone than to do some VI solution. If you have a hybrid system, I don't think it works nearly as well. Also, we still have to use other products, like Okta, for identity management. It would be ideal if it could be one product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru ensures we have the latest updates, security fixes, and proper software on our Macs and iPhones.
Efficient MDM with User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Iru's interface is generally easy and simple to use, and it moves quickly. It's easy to get things done and isn't super cumbersome, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation on the left side could be improved. Seems kinda duplicative where the device enrollment is or maybe not duplicative, but unclear versus the other things on the left hand bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iru for MDM management, setting up computers for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary tools and software, and maintaining effective compliance.
Effortless Fleet MDM with Robust Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like Iru for its automatic updates, compliance, and security features, which are crucial in managing our fleet. I also appreciate the amount of library apps available, which make implementing tasks like WiFi and printer installs really easy. Once I learned how it works, everything became easy to use. I rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to friends or colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complicated thing is the migration, but largely because of the tool we had before that makes Iru install sometimes harder. We used Deeploi and nobody can remove their profile other than themselves. Migration with ABM works in some devices only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Iru for MDM of our fleet, solving automatic updates, compliance, and security issues.
Simple Yet Effective Device Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Iru is simple to use. It's a strong part of its appeal. What really stands out is that it works perfectly fast, which is a big plus for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Iru for mobile device management, especially for managing all our macOS devices.
Iru Makes Mobile Device Management a Breeze, Backed by Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Iru makes mobile device management a breeze. Their support team is also among the best I’ve encountered across roughly 100 SaaS companies I’ve worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t really think of any significant downsides. The only thing that comes to mind is that I’d like the option to create a custom profile directly within the platform, rather than relying on third-party tools like iMazing Profile Editor to generate a “mobileconfig” file and then import it into Iru.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us manage our fleet of around 150 MacBooks by automatically provisioning them for new hires and remotely erasing departed employees’ laptops, which helps us stay compliant with our security requirements.
