What do you like best about the product?

Iru has been fantastic in getting us an easy-to-use MDM for all of our MacOS and iPadOS devices. The management for us has been very easy, and it has been extremely simple for the users to be able to get all of their required apps from the self-service portal.

What do you dislike about the product?

Our org has not had any issues with Iru as of yet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Iru has provided us with an easy-to-use MDM solution for our MacOS and iPadOS devices

Simple integration into our Apple devices

The IRU interface offers lots of options, which can make the initial onboarding feel difficult.

Compliance and user setup

What do you like best about the product?

Very easy to use. Absolutely effortless MDM for Mac devices in particular. Autoapps are a lifersaver. Keeping apps up to date using something like Intune is such a pain. Happy to see there is an active desire to listen to new feature requests, and that they have expanded to Windows devices last year.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some documentation is unclear about what IS automated by Iru, and what is not. I would love for more in-depth reporting of devices within our estate, and finer, more granual controls over what cannot be installed by users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is perhaps one of the easiest MDM platforms I've ever used in my career. Straightforward for onboarding of devices and maintaining version control.

Intuitive (we have no IT team today) and great sales service

There's nothing we dislike about Iru today.

Easy & intuitive software - easy to integrate and adopt. Compatible with Apple Business account

What do you like best about the product?

Easy to use, even for non-IT people in the business. When we run into access issues or need to onboard a new starter onto an existing machine, IRU makes the process straightforward and hassle-free.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don’t really have anything I dislike. There are a few areas that could still be improved, but overall they’ve listened to feedback and have implemented changes well over time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

In a world where most of the workforce is remote, IRU is essential for us to manage our hardware.

Lots of features all for the Apple ecosystem.

More comprehensive than we needed and thus a little higher priced per device for what we need to do

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping to keep all devices up to date on software, tracking devices if they are lost or stolen, or we need to lock them down. Simple onboarding setup of device for our employees.

What do you like best about the product?

The Iru UI is very clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Setup is very straightforward that you could get everything up and running in a few hours. It's a great MDM for managing macOS devices and natively supports external IDPs such as Entra ID or Google or Okta and ABM for zero touch deployment. There's also a really large catelog of natively supported 3rd party apps (Chrome, Zoom, Slack, M365, etc.). Creating different blueprints or layouts for different groups or teams of users is very useful as well. Their blueprint UI is drag and drop and toggle buttons so its very easy to do setup. Their pricing has been increating over the years but still a more cost efficent option to JAMF.

What do you dislike about the product?

There's no option to manually remove or silence device alerts. The only fix is to resolve the "issue/conflict" itself but in some cases its not actually a real issue. There's no integration with any asset management/tracking platforms.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We originally used Intune for macOS device management but it worked very poorly. Iru provided us a very good MDM solution to manage all of our macOS devices. We can now deploy devices with zero touch, authenticate using Entra ID, and managent group policies and applications.

Easy to navigate and operate specially when deploying the blueprints

Clean way to maintain the inventory and export them

We have a lot of macOS devices shipped to different parts of the world and we need to track them.

What do you like best about the product?

The user experience is great. It gives users clear visibility into their services and helpful insight into what access they currently have, as well as what they may need to request.

Overall my experience has been great. I do not have any negative items to note.

Its so simple to make changes and setup individual blueprints.

Nothing at all. It is very good for our company.
