I like ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager for its ability to automate configuration backups and track changes across network devices. (1) Multi -vendor support due to its ability to manage configurations for a wide range of network devices and it also all of a single console

it is using bulk configuration i.e you can push configuration changes to multiple devices simultaneously using "Configlets"& automated backup.

Limited customization for some vendor product.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation and centralized control in ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager. It automatically backs up device configurations, tracks every change, and makes it easy to roll back to a stable version if something goes wrong. The automation features save time by automatically backing up configuration, tracking changes, and pushing updates to multiple devices at once. I also appreciate the strong automation, reliable configuration backup, and useful compliance features that make daily network management easier. The initial setup is fairly straightforward for basic deployment, especially with the installation wizard and default settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager could improve its user interface, which feels less modern and can take time to get used to. The dashboard could be more modern and customizable with clearer visuals for device status, compliance, and recent changes. Navigation between modules sometimes requires multiple clicks, so a more intuitive menu structure or quick access shortcuts would help.

Automated backups and the "Diff View" are life savers. It makes comparing config versions across our Cisco and HP switches incredibly fast.

The UI feels clunky and dated. Pulling reports is slow, and advanced features are often hidden deep in menus.

What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine NCM is simple to use and doesn't take long to learn. It provides good value for the price and work reliably for managing network device configuration and automated backups and change tracking also make it easier to save and restore network configurations when needed and ease to implementation because of these features, I like ManageEngine Network Configuration manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some drawbacks in NCM is that Alerts and Notifications can sometimes be too frequent and need time to fine-tune and also sometimes when added new devices in NCM, but device template does not select properly we need select manually but overall, this tool is very powerful

ManageEngine NCM solves the hassle of manually managing network device configuration. Its automatically takes backup of startup configuration and running configuration and also tracks changes and flags unauthorized updates. it saves our times, deduces errors also help with audits.

The backup of network nodes and script automation to deploy the same configuration across multiple devices.

The only issue we encountered was integrating with Huawei model switches and routers.
