I really appreciate how ONLYOFFICE DocSpace structures collaboration around “Spaces.” It makes permission management, file organization, and teamwork feel very clear, controlled, and easy to follow. Rather than mixing internal and external collaborators in one shared environment, each Space works like an independent workspace with its own rules and boundaries, which helps keep everything organized and reduces confusion. This structure also aligns with the G2 guideline to “focus on the features that bring the most value”.

The interface is clean and intuitive, so new members can jump in and start working almost immediately without much training. That’s something the page also encourages by recommending “specific examples that help others understand your perspective”.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I like least about ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is that some parts of the interface still feel less polished compared to more mature collaboration platforms. While the Space‑based structure is powerful, it can take time for new users to understand how different Spaces, roles, and permissions interact. Integrations also feel limited in certain workflows, so switching between tools is sometimes unavoidable. Improving onboarding guidance and expanding native integrations would make the overall experience smoother.

ONLYOFFICE DocSpace solves several collaboration and document‑management problems that used to slow down our workflow. The Space‑based structure eliminates permission confusion by clearly separating internal and external collaborators, which makes project boundaries much easier to manage. It also centralizes files, discussions, and tasks in one place, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools.

For me, the biggest benefit is the clarity and control it brings to collaboration. I no longer spend time checking who has access to what or searching across different platforms for the latest version of a document. Everything stays organized within its Space, and onboarding new contributors is much faster. This has noticeably improved our team’s efficiency and reduced communication overhead.

I like ONLYOFFICE DocSpace because it has a modern interface that is easy to use and glitch-free. It has saved us money over Microsoft Office and streamlined our processes. The initial setup was very easy as well.

This app is the good choice for office productivity (ala MSOffice). I can find all the features I need to read, edit and create PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, and is the great solution for personal use on mobile device. It is a very powerful app with great tools for any task.

Pdf management is brilliant. I can easily open, view, and annotate PDF files, work with fillable forms, convert PDF documents to Word, Excel.

I like that you can do almost anything like the MS suite, so it is a very free practical alternative.

It is not all compatible with some files or objects as MS office, that is the worldwide known, so it is difficult when you open a file and some of the objects and functions are not visible or don't work as expected.

You can create a document or a sheets file or a presentation very easy and with almost all the functions required to do it.

What do you like best about the product?

DocSpace within ONLYOFFICE shows its ability to connect collaboration tools as document editor, chat, and video calls in one platform. This makes it easy to share documents and files with my team hence easing the workflow of our different projects.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find it quite clumsy and it does not contain necessary functions that I consider necessary. It is often difficult to keep track of the history of changes, especially when a document is being collaboratively edited by several users.

I was able to manage the cooperation of my team much easier. It allows us to edit the same document, communicate in using the chat feature, and it even offers video conferencing for project discussions.
