Intuitive Platform with Straightforward Integrations and Supportive Onboarding

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive and easy to learn, even for first-time users who aren’t familiar with task setup or data movement. Setting up endpoint integrations was also straightforward (S3 and SharePoint, for example). On top of that, meeting with the product team during onboarding and as we were getting started was very helpful. They were extremely supportive throughout the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some of our first use cases the progress hosted agent has a limit of 15 GB which was initially prohibitive for the file transfers we were testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are setting up file automation tasks - at the moment we do not have a solution but Progress Automate MFT is filling that gap. Prior to using this platform file transfer is ad hoc and reliant on custom scripts, but this adds a layer of governance and unity for our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
MOVEit Automate has made it much easier for us to standardize and automate file transfers instead of relying on custom scripts. The interface is straightforward enough that you don't need deep PowerShell or scripting knowledge to build and manage tasks. That makes the solution much more accessible to the entire team and reduces our dependency on individual scripting expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve, especially when you're first getting familiar with the interface. MOVEit Automate includes a lot of functionality, but that can make certain settings and features difficult to find without digging through multiple pages. A more streamlined interface or better search and navigation would make the product easier to learn and use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us automate file transfers that would otherwise require manual work or custom PowerShell scripts. The biggest benefit is that these processes are easier for the entire team to manage instead of depending on one person who understands the underlying scripts. It saves time and makes ongoing support much simpler.
