About Atmospheric Composition Analysis Group
The Atmospheric Composition Analysis Group at WashU, led by Randall V. Martin, applies satellite data, global models, and in situ measurements to study air quality, climate, and biogeochemical cycling. Focusing on emissions, tropospheric ozone, and aerosols, we integrate satellite remote sensing with 3D chemical transport models to analyze complex global datasets. We supplement these with ground and aircraft observations to establish a complete, high-resolution picture of atmospheric constituents.
