Local currency transactions

Customers in India can make purchases in AWS Marketplace from eligible India-based sellers and pay in Indian Rupees (INR). Sellers can receive disbursements in INR to local bank accounts.

Invoice consistency

Streamline internal operations with currency and tax consistency between AWS cloud and AWS Marketplace transactions when buying from eligible India-based sellers. AWS India facilitates invoices on behalf of India-based sellers to India-based customers.

Simplified tax compliance

When buying from India-based sellers, AWS Marketplace will automatically deduct and remit Withholding Tax (WHT) and GST (TCS) to the respective tax authorities.
