Edrans Uses AWS Managed Service Provider Program to Accelerate Customer Deployments and Drive Innovation
Executive Summary
AWS Partner Edrans seeks to provide integrated technology solutions to its growing customer base to help them achieve business outcomes. By qualifying for the AWS Managed Service Provider Program, Edrans can offer more complete solutions, help customers reduce deployment times from nine months to three months, enable business expansion, and provide innovative new products.
Partner Success Story – Edrans
Edrans has provided IT and consulting services to companies worldwide since 2009. Based in Buenos Aires, with offices in Spain, Oregon, and Mexico, the organization strives to bridge the gap between its customers’ business requirements and modern technologies.
Since its founding, Edrans has been an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner, helping organizations migrate to AWS and take advantage of a range of AWS services to increase agility and scalability. “Our early customers needed help moving to the cloud, and we made a strategic decision to focus entirely on AWS,” says Martin Bianco, Co-founder and Chief Strategist at Edrans. For the past several years, Edrans has sought to respond to customers who needed more help managing their IT environments on AWS. “We have a strong background in automation, and we wanted to provide a more complete solution offering— including management services—in addition to technology deployment,” says Javier D'Ovidio, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer at Edrans.
“We wanted to join the AWS MSP Program because we saw how it would help us solve our customers’ most complex requirements.”

Delivering a Complete Solution through the AWS Managed Service Provider Program
Edrans reached its goal by qualifying to join the AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program, which validates and promotes AWS Partners and enables them to provide end-to-end AWS solutions to customers. As an AWS MSP Partner, Edrans can grow and promote its business across four key areas: planning and designing, building and migrating, running and operating, and optimizing. “We wanted to join the AWS MSP Program because we saw how it would help us solve our customers’ most complex requirements,” says Bianco.

As an AWS MSP Partner, Edrans can meet the needs of all its customers, regardless of size or industry. “We can deliver a 360-degree solution offering now,” Bianco says. “Through the AWS MSP Program, we can combine structural practices, software development, and consulting services to support whatever our customers require.” As an example, Edrans had been working with a large utility provider in Argentina to migrate the company’s IT environment to AWS. Since achieving the AWS MSP Partner designation, Edrans has expanded its offerings to provide infrastructure management and lead new technology initiatives for that customer. “We can now help customers like this focus on their specific business area instead of the technology,” says D'Ovidio. “We are leading a data lake project and helping them explore artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) opportunities as well, while also providing 24/7 management and technical support.”

Driving Faster Customer Implementations
Through its participation in the AWS MSP Program, Edrans is supporting one of its strategic goals: helping its customers achieve business outcomes, faster. “Using automation and taking advantage of the AWS MSP Program, we’ve reduced implementation times for data lakes and other customer solutions,” says Bianco. “We can deploy a solution in two or three months instead of nine months, which gives our customers a competitive advantage because they can start gaining value from their data as quickly as possible.”

Enabling Expansion and Product Innovation
Edrans has also used the AWS MSP Program to support business growth by expanding into Mexico and other new territories. “This happened because of our close relationship and regular communication with the AWS team, and it will ultimately help us grow our business even faster than we expected,” says Bianco.
In addition, because of its relationship with AWS, Edrans can create innovative new solutions for its customers. One of these solutions is Metzoo Smart Agro, an AWS based autonomous crop monitoring Internet of Things system for agricultural companies in Argentina. “We see that data is becoming more important to our customers, and we want to help them unlock the value in that data through AI and ML technologies,” says Bianco. “We can do that because of the synergy we have with AWS and our mutual commitment to helping our customers move their businesses ahead.”
