With AWS, Grupo Boticário integrates operations from e-commerce and its 4,000 stores

Over the last 10 years, the group grew at a fast pace. Today, it owns more than 10 brands, holds around 4,000 stores spread throughout Brazil, and operates in more than 50 countries around the world. To ensure that its operations remain continuous and healthy, the group also went through a modernization and expansion of its technology area.

Daniel Knopfholz, Vice President of People and Technology at Grupo Boticário, and Renato Pedigoni, Chief Technology Officer at Grupo Boticário, tell how adopting AWS services helped maximizing the integration of assets, including digital products and services. They point out the use of cloud architecture for integrating e-commerce operations to the physical stores, as well as for accelerating innovation and facilitating a decentralization in the work of more than 2,500 IT professionals in the group.
