Q: What is the price of registration?
The AWS Public Sector Summit is a complimentary event for government, education, and nonprofit employees, AWS customers, sponsors, and exhibitors, AWS Public Sector Partner Program members, media, and support staff. For all others, the Summit will cost $195 (early bird special), or $295 beginning May 1, 2018.

Q: Who should attend AWS Summits?
Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Q: What is included in Summit registration?
Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, breakout sessions, the Partner & Solutions Expo Hall, the Cloud Lounge, and the receptions held within the Partner & Solutions Expo Hall. Continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.  

Q: How do I update my registration information?
To view or make changes to your registration details, return to your Summit account and enter your account information created during registration. On the following page, select “Modify.”

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your Summit or bootcamp registration at any time by logging into your Summit account.

Q: Can I sign up for sessions I want to attend?
Onsite at the Summit, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed there is no need to pre-register for each breakout session. However, we recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on AWS Summit mobile app to help organize your day. The app will be available approximately one month prior to the Summit.

Q: Are you streaming the keynotes or any sessions?
We will not offer streaming of the AWS Public Sector Summit keynote or breakout sessions. After the event, the sessions will be posted to our YouTube channel.

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?
The AWS Public Sector Summit will take place at the Walter E. Convention Center. This venue has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible.
