Note: Always ensure your operating system is current for your needs.

Usage Instructions

1. By default, the Barracuda Web Application Firewall web interface listens on port 8000 for HTTP and port 443 for HTTPS, so make sure these ports (i.e 8000 and 443) are added in the Inbound Rule of the security group that will be associated with the Barracuda Web Application Firewall.
2. Allow a few minutes before taking any further actions in the Portal. During this time, the Amazon Web Services Agent and the Barracuda Web Application Firewall Vx image boot up.
3. Now access the Barracuda Web Application Firewall using the associated Public DNS with port 8000 for HTTP and no port is required for HTTPS i.e
For HTTP: http://<Public DNS>:8000 (Unsecured)
For HTTPS: https://<Public DNS> (Secured)
4. You will then see the Licensing page. Enter your Barracuda Networks Token and Default Domain to complete licensing which was provided to you by Barracuda Networks. Click Provision. The Barracuda Web Application Firewall connects to the Barracuda Update Server to get the required information based on your license, after which the system starts a provisioning process. When this is complete, you will be presented with the web administration login. Login as "admin" and use the EC2 instance ID as the password to begin configuring the Web Application Firewall.
