Genymotion PaaS is an Android emulator on EC2. With AWS APIs, you can build or extend your own solution on top of Genymotion. Embed it into your website or product to promote your application or provide support to your sales, marketing or help desk.
Genymotion delivers the most trusted cloud Android emulator directly to AWS EC2. This high-performance Amazon Machine Image (AMI) provides a robust, cloud-native Android environment, enabling seamless automated testing, large-scale virtualization, and instant browser-based access for teams worldwide.
By moving your Android infrastructure to the cloud, you eliminate hardware bottlenecks and gain the full scalability of AWS, whether you are validating the latest Android release or scaling complex device automation.
Possibilities are numerous:
Integrate with your existing Continuous Integration infrastructure to enable continuous delivery, embed it into your website to promote your mobile app, or simply access it through a web browser to support your marketing, sales, and support efforts.
By leveraging AWS APIs, you can build or extend your own solution on top of Genymotion. The only limit is your imagination.
Genymotion is also ideal for Android App Performance Monitoring, Mobile threat detection and protection, Competitive analysis, Advertising, IT Service Management, or rapid prototyping.
All the power and features of Genymotion, the only industry-leading Android emulator.
Smooth interactive access to a virtual device with or without widget toolbar via a web browser without any plug ins as well as even using a kiosk mode to restrain the use of your device to only one application.

Try this product free for 5 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the software running on your chosen AWS EC2 instance type. Pricing scales with the instance size you select, so larger instances cost more per hour. The options span general-purpose families (t2, t3, m4, m5) and one GPU family (g2.2xlarge). Smaller instances like t3.small and t2.small suit basic automation or testing. Mid-range m5.large and m5.xlarge fit standard usage. Larger m5.2xlarge and the g2.2xlarge GPU instance support graphics-heavy work like video streaming or 3D. You match the instance to your workload and billing tracks actual hourly use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually pay for on this hourly plan — the Android software or the EC2 instance?
You pay the hourly software charge for the Genymotion PaaS image running the Android 5.1 Lollipop (x86_64) device. The EC2 instance you select carries its own separate AWS compute charge. Both run together and appear on your AWS bill, but they are metered independently.
Am I charged while my instance is stopped or only when it runs?
The software charge meters running time by the hour. If you stop the instance, the hourly software charge no longer accrues. Underlying AWS resources such as attached storage volumes may still incur AWS fees while stopped, but those are separate from the Genymotion software charge.
Which instance types actually work for this x86_64 image?
The vendor notes that t2 and m4 x86_64 instance types are not suitable for Genymotion, even though they appear in the list. For x86_64 device images, choose t3 or m5 types matched to your workload. Basic automation fits smaller sizes; graphics-heavy streaming or 3D fits larger sizes and the GPU option.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
