    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Additional details

    Usage instructions

Launch the SecureStack Base instance and ssh to it using the securestack user and the ssh key you provided in the launch wizard. After successfully logging in as securestack you will need to update the instance: '/opt/securestack/scripts/securestack update'

You will need to configure SecureStack so that it knows what your local networks and what IP addresses to add to the whitelist. Additionally, it will ask you several questions to setup your firewall and which security applications you want to run on this particular instance. Once you're ready you can start the configuration with: '/opt/securestack/scripts/securestack configure'

Finally, start the SecureStack engine: '/opt/securestack/scripts/securestack start'
