These options scale by compute power, memory, and storage. Smaller sizes like t3.micro suit light workloads, while larger sizes like m5.24xlarge or m5d.metal handle heavier demand. Your hourly rate rises with the instance size you select. Pick the instance that matches your traffic and performance needs. No commitment term applies to this hourly billing.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one running AWS EC2 instance of that type, billed per hour. The instance name reflects its compute, memory, and storage size. Since the software is free, the hourly rate covers only the instance you launch and run. Larger instance types carry a higher hourly rate.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance stops accruing hourly charges. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume. To fully avoid charges, terminate the instance rather than just stopping it.
No. This is a simple single-instance image with no load balancing or redundancy built in. Each instance runs on its own. The software does support load balancing setups, but you would configure and run that yourself across multiple instances, each billed separately per hour.

Subscribe to AWS Marketplace product and click on launch button to launch the stack. Once it was launched successfully, navigate to output tab to retrieve admin page URL. Access the admin page via a browser at http://<public_dns>/admin. To connect to the operating system, use SSH and the username ubuntu.
