Overview
iPerf3 - SpeedTest Server for Windows 2019 is a power tool which provides ability to measure IP networks maximum achievable bandwidth. iPerf3 reports the bandwidth, loss, and other parameters for each separate test. It supports tuning of various parameters related to timing, buffers and protocols (TCP, UDP, SCTP with IPv4 and IPv6) on Windows.
iPerf3 - SpeedTest Server for Windows 2019 will be very useful for network administrators who constantly need to keep an eye on bandwidth performance. Even though its interface is just a command line, it manages to provide powerful assistance when some tweaking is needed.
iPerf3 Features:
Client and server can have multiple simultaneous connections.
Server handles multiple connections, rather than quitting after a single test.
Can run for specified time, rather than a set amount of data to transfer.
Print periodic, intermediate bandwidth, jitter, and loss reports at specified intervals.
Run the server as a daemon.
Use representative streams to test out how link layer compression affects your achievable bandwidth.
Ignore TCP slow start.
Set target bandwidth for UDP and TCP.
Set IPv6 flow label.
Set congestion control algorithm.
Output in JSON format.
Disk read and write tests.
Highlights
- Set time and traffic information. Get testing results in one click. You can check the connection speed wherever you are.
- UDP: When used for testing UDP capacity, iperf allows the user to specify the datagram size and provides results for the datagram throughput and the packet loss.
- TCP: When used for testing TCP capacity, iPerf measures the throughput of the payload. Iperf uses 1024 x 1024 for mebibytes and 1000 x 1000 for megabytes.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
