    Structured testing mindset has improved early bug detection and automated cloud-based reviews

    What is our primary use case?

    I started using QA Cloud Training & Certification three months ago. The course taught me to think in a structured quality-first way. In my daily work, I now catch issues very early and validate requirements very clearly. It has removed the dependency on external QA for testing my internal builds, which I previously gave to QA.

    For my work, it really simplified automating repeated testing, such as writing test cases and understanding cloud-based test environments. Initially, I tested only on one environment, but the course taught me that if your company has more than one or two environments, like UAT and production, you need to test on every environment to ensure things work properly.

    When there is a web build and a mobile app build, both are different. In mobile app builds, you don't need tools like Selenium. You only need the QA mindset to find bugs rather than simply pointing them out to the developer. The main things to validate are APIs, UI, and integrations in CI/CD, thinking about quality from design to development. You don't code just to create a pull request. You code in a manner so that it's bug-free.

    How has it helped my organization?

    I have documented test strategies and frameworks. One improvement could be to include knowledge of all programming languages, as test code parameters sometimes don't suggest compatibility with other languages. Being a React developer, I have written test code pull requests in React, but I'm not certain the same code might work for others. If there were a possibility, making the test code generic so it works across React, JavaScript, and many other languages would be beneficial.

    What is most valuable?

    QA Cloud Training & Certification reduces manual debugging and manual QA testing. Developers can catch errors first. Once I learned these techniques, I shared best practices with my teammates and showed the juniors cloud testing tools, strategies, and automation flows that they can use while reviewing pull requests with the QA cloud mindset.

    Every developer should go through this course. It's not only for Quality Assurance engineers. Every developer should take it to have the skills of both QA and developer combined.

    I took this course outside of my organization as a personal initiative. It helped me build scalable testing automation frameworks to run tests in cloud environments. I can write test cases and do other coding instead of manually testing. Testing APIs, UI, and microservices has become much more effective.

    After learning from this course, I know that I can rely on faster and safer releases. It has reduced regression risks, including code-breaking fixes. It has better helped me test the coverage of builds in distributed systems. Before, I learned about bugs manually, and now my frameworks are working effectively for this.

    What needs improvement?

    There is always scope for improvement. If there's no scope for improvement, there's nothing to improve in QA Cloud Training & Certification.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been working for the past 3.1 years.

    Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

    I haven't used any earlier solution. I was manually doing all testing before.

    What was our ROI?

    I can't provide specific monetary values, but the time saved has been substantial. I can't give exact numbers for how much time has been saved, but it has been considerable. For every code review, I previously did manual testing. Now I just run automated test cases in the cloud setup framework. For a heavy pull request with approximately a thousand lines of code, it can easily save one to two hours.

    What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

    I went with the beginner-friendly option to check the free credit details. Once I get more crowd and more engagement, I will go for the enterprise solution.

    What other advice do I have?

    The main use case was to catch bugs earlier, such as production and release bugs that used to occur, and to improve collaboration between QA and development so that developers are aware of the QA testing process, eliminating the need for QA to do manual testing since developers have already done it.

    I created an automation framework where I can test code in pull requests, which has helped juniors understand cloud-based test execution.

    If developers want the knowledge of QA as well, they should always pursue it. I gave this review a rating of nine out of ten.

    Sometimes setting up new test cases takes a little longer than expected, but once everything is in place the process runs smoothly.

    What do you like best about the product?
    The team is very professional,responsive, and detail-oriented. They communicate clearly and make sure testing is through, which gives us confidence in the quality of our product before release.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    There isn't much to dislike, but sometimes i wish the reporting features were a bit more detailed. It would also be nice to have more integration options with third-party tools out of box.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    QA USA helps streamline our testing process and ensure better product quality before release. It has reduced the amount of manual rework we used to do, which saves time and improves confidence in our deployments. The consistency and ease of use make it a tool we rely on regularly.

    What do you like best about the product?
    The video lectures are very indepth and simple to understand. Also, the course paths created for various certifications are very appropriate and helpful considering the standards of the exam. Cloud Academy also provides access to hands on labs after every few modules, and we actually get to exercise all that we learned, and this is the best part about Clous Academy. There are tests after every few modules (atleast for AWS Certification Coursee that I did) and that helps to gain clear insight about our preparation level for those module concepts. We get to know which topics we need to focus on or which are our strong or weak areas. At the end of the certification course, there was a proper complete test which resembled the original certification test. The level of questions, the focused topics, the type of answer options for the question, the time alloted and cloud academy test interface was all very similar to original certification test. This was very helpful for my certification and was like a mock test which helped me boost my score in original test and thus, I could pass my test. These are the things I liked about Cloud Academy.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The content provided in the course are a little too exhaustive, so if a learner has less time then it would get very difficult to study. Because of long length of the course, at times lectures can get boring for the learner and motivation to complete the course might decrease. These are the things that I dislike or would want Cloud Academy to improve on.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    I am working on AWS currently in my job role project, and I didn't have any knowledge about AWS before. So AWS helped me gain the required knowledge to get started with AWS. Also, I could clear my AWS Cloud Practioner Certification becuase of Cloud Academy course. This has helped me solve my AWS doubts and I have also been able to migrate my application from on premises clous to AWS and it has helped me and my team solve lot of problems and increase revenue of our business. Similarly, I know many other friends and colleagues who have developed successful applications on AWS utilising the ClouD Academy AWS course and that has solved many of their technology/cloud related problems like storage, availability, etc.

    What do you like best about the product?
    Cloud Academy has provided a treasure trove of valuable applicable learning and hands on application of cloud securty operational Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP). Hands down this is the number one platform to learn and develop cloud technologies, services and features, acrosss vendor specific environments--AWS, AZURE, GCP, and more. Cloud Academy is certainly an valuable investment in your future professional and career development. I have not encountered any issues with connectivity or accessabilty to learning platform and environment.
