Puppeteer in Lambda

By: Noricum Cloud Solutions Latest Version: Mar 2021
Linux/Unix
Linux/Unix

Product Overview

This AMI enables you to deploy Chromium and the browser automation framework Puppeteer to a NodeJS Lambda function. Start an instance of this AMI, configure an IAM user for deployment and run the predefined code in this instance. Scale Puppeteer to infinity by using this serverless architecture.

We offer the following deployment options:

  • Deploy a minimalist Chromium build to Lambdas default NodeJS runtime - cold start up time around 5 seconds - includes some minor adjustment to the Puppeteer framework
  • Deploy full featured Chromium via custom Docker images - cold start up time up to 40 seconds - uses pure Puppeteer without any workarounds

Puppeteer.cloud is your first address to find prepackaged products for running Puppeteer on EC2, Lambda and Container in your AWS infrastructure. Book our Professional Services directly over AWS Marketplace for getting tailormade infrastructure solutions and expert Puppeteer development.
