LotLenz Verified Vehicle Inventory API provides VIN-level vehicle inventory verification for AI agents, marketplaces, automotive platforms, lenders, insurers, and enterprise systems that depend on trusted vehicle data. The service helps determine whether vehicle imagery and inventory records are connected to a specific VIN and can return machine-readable trust signals through API and MCP-based workflows.
LotLenz is designed to support verified vehicle media, inventory authenticity, listing confidence, and AI-ready automotive data. It can help systems distinguish between current VIN-specific media and inventory records that may be incomplete, generic, outdated, or not found in the verification registry. Responses are structured for automated consumption by AI agents, marketplace search systems, dealer platforms, and data partners.
The product is hosted and operated by LotLenz as a SaaS/API-based service. Customers can use LotLenz to add a verification layer to automotive inventory workflows, improve trust in vehicle listings, support AI grounding, and provide more reliable vehicle media signals across digital retail, marketplace, and enterprise automotive use cases.
Highlights
VIN-level vehicle inventory verification for AI agents and marketplace systems.
Machine-readable trust signals help identify verified, current, VIN-specific vehicle media.
SaaS/API-based access designed for automotive platforms, enterprise workflows, and AI grounding.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing has one pricing dimension: a Free usage option with no charge. You are not billed based on usage counts, seat licenses, or committed volume through AWS Marketplace. The product provides machine-readable vehicle image verification records that connect imagery to a VIN and expose authenticity signals through API and MCP-based access. Since only the Free dimension applies, there are no tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to compare. Custom pilot and enterprise arrangements are handled directly with the vendor during integration planning, based on your use case, integration scope, and data volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Free dimension actually cover, and what counts as usage?
The Free dimension carries no charge through AWS Marketplace. The product provides machine-readable vehicle image verification records that connect imagery to a VIN and expose authenticity signals. Access is available through secure APIs and MCP-based workflows. You are not metered by request counts, records, or seats under this dimension.
If my request volume grows, does the Free dimension add usage charges automatically?
No. The Free dimension carries no usage-based charge, so higher API or verification activity does not add cost through this dimension. Larger data volume or wider integration scope is handled through direct pilot or enterprise planning with the vendor, not through automatic metering on AWS Marketplace.
What is NOT included in the verification records I receive?
Verification records focus on image trust and VIN association. They do not replace a physical inspection, title report, accident-history report, appraisal, or insurance underwriting decision. A verified image does not confirm the vehicle is free of damage or history concerns. It confirms the image was evaluated for trust signals.

Usage instructions
MCP
API
To get started using the LotLenz MCP server, follow the instructions below.
Available Tools
This MCP server supports the following tool:
verify_vin — Checks whether a VIN has a verified photo record in the LotLenz registry. Returns verification status, evidence tier, integrity checks, dealership info, and a signed verification record.
Prerequisites
None for connecting through a client connector (below). Direct API access (curl, scripts, agents) needs no local install either.
Getting your credentials
When you subscribe through AWS Marketplace, LotLenz automatically provisions your account and delivers an OAuth client_id / client_secret pair to your AWS account as a Marketplace deployment parameter named lotlenz-credentials (retrievable via the AWS Marketplace Deployment Parameters API, or injected automatically if you use Quick Launch).
If you instead register through the web fulfillment page AWS redirects you to after subscribing,
you'll get a sign-in link by email confirming setup. That page does not display the secret itself
— credentials are always delivered to your AWS account as described above.
Authentication
LotLenz uses standard OAuth 2.0. Your Marketplace-issued client_id and client_secret
authenticate every connection — no separate API key to manage. verification:read is the only
scope available on this plan.
Connecting via Claude Desktop or Claude.ai
Go to Customize → Connectors → Add connector (+) → Add custom connector.
Set Name to LotLenz and Remote MCP server URL to <https://mcp.lotlenz.com>.
Expand Advanced settings and paste your Marketplace-issued credentials into OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret.
Choose Add.
With Client ID/Secret filled in, the connector authenticates directly — no browser sign-in prompt.
Connecting from another agent framework (OAuth2 client_credentials)
Any framework that supports standard OAuth2 client_credentials (custom GPT actions, LangChain,
n8n, your own agent runtime, etc.) can connect using these parameters:
Parameter
Value
MCP server URL
<https://mcp.lotlenz.com>
Token URL
<https://mcp.lotlenz.com/oauth/token>
Grant type
client_credentials
Client ID
your Marketplace-issued client_id
Client secret
your Marketplace-issued client_secret
Scope
verification:read (optional — this is the default)
Rate Limits
500 requests per minute per credential (client_id).
Every response includes X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset.
Exceeding the limit returns HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. Use retry with exponential backoff.
Customers can expect support for account setup, API/MCP usage questions, product configuration, and troubleshooting related to LotLenz Verified Vehicle Inventory API.
