This delivery option leverages an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) bundled with an AWS CloudFormation template to enable seamless, automated deployment of your solution in the buyer’s AWS account. Upon product launch, the CloudFormation template provisions the EC2 instance using the provided AMI and can optionally configure and deploy additional AWS resources such as VPCs, S3 buckets, IAM roles, security groups, ECS services, EKS clusters, Load Balancers, and more—based on the architecture defined in the template.
This approach simplifies deployment for customers by offering a one-click installation experience while ensuring that all required infrastructure components are consistently and securely set up in their environment. The template can be customized to prompt users for parameters (e.g., instance size, CIDR blocks, or keys), and it supports region-specific AMI mappings for multi-region compatibility.
