This API uses AI models, Machine Learning, specialized algorithms, and extensive knowledge bases to generate a similarity key for a company name used to match with other similar company name data to identify data inconsistency. The API can be called to generate a key for single records for matching with other records, or can be used to process, match, and normalize entire datasets via either API or the Web GUI wizard.
This API uses AI models, Machine Learning, specialized algorithms, and extensive knowledge bases to generate company/organization name similarity keys, a canonical representation of an organization name. These keys, when sorted or matched, enable similar company names to be clustered and/or matched together for the purposes of identifying inconsistent company/organization name data, improving Analytics, Business Intelligence, business processes, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, ETL/ELT data pipelines, CRM, Marketing, and other data-driven initiatives that depend on high quality, consistent, and accurate data to be effective and successful.
This REST-based API takes a company/organization query string and returns the results in JSON for easy, standardized integration into Web sites, applications, and business processes. In addition, using your assigned universal API key (how AWS Marketplace usage is tracked), a Web application is available enabling the generation of on-the-fly match reports to targeted data sources, such as AWS RDS, Snowflake, Azure SQL, MySQL, Postgres, CSV files, and others - no coding necessary.
SDKs are available for Go, Python, Node.js, and Java.
In addition, matching reports from an entire targeted data source can be performed from the command line with a single API call, generating entire company name/organization match reports that showcase data challenges such as name inconsistency, data anomalies, and duplicate data. These are challenges that can also be resolved within the offering. No installation of software is required, as everything runs 100% in the Cloud.
Highlights
Use the Cloud Data Connect Wizard to quickly generate match and inconsistent data reports in just a few quick steps using these APIs. It connects to AWS RDS/Aurora, Snowflake, Postgres, MySQL, and several other Cloud database platforms, as well as local CSVs, TSVs, JSON, Parquet, and Microsoft Excel files. AI-powered API generates similarity keys to enable clustering of inconsistent company/organization names for easy reporting, observability, matching, and resolving data inconsistency and redundancy issues.
APIs can be called individually for single records and control of matching approach, or entire datasets can be analyzed and matched automatically from a Web application or via a single command on the command line with pre-built match reporting.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay based on the number of API requests you make. Pricing follows a usage model, so your cost scales directly with how many calls you send. Each request typically matches one record in your dataset. The system works on credits, where one credit equals one standard API call, though premium APIs may deduct more per call. There are no separate charges for tools or applications that run these calls. You only pay for the API usage itself, whether you call the API directly or through connected tools.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one API request for billing?
Each API request deducts one credit and typically matches one record in your dataset. Premium APIs deduct more than one credit per call. For company name matching, one request generates a similarity key for one company name value, so your credit use scales with the number of records you process.
Does choosing a different matching algorithm change how many credits a request uses?
You can select wide, narrow, model-v4-wide, or model-v4-narrow algorithms with each request. Only one algorithm is used per call. Credit use depends on whether the endpoint is standard or premium, not on which algorithm you pick within the same API.
Do I pay extra to run requests through the batch tools or wizards instead of direct calls?
No. The wizards, database connectivity tools, and sample applications carry no separate usage fee. Credits are deducted only for the underlying API calls they make while processing your data. You are billed the same whether you call the API directly or through any connected tool.
