    Overview

OpenProject Team Project Management Server by Code Creator gives organizations a fast way to launch a self hosted OpenProject environment on AWS. OpenProject is a powerful open source project management platform used for planning, collaboration, agile work, task tracking, roadmaps, meetings, wiki based documentation, time tracking, and team coordination.

This Code Creator AMI is designed for customers who want the control of self hosted project management without spending time building the server from scratch. The instance launches with OpenProject 17, Ubuntu 24.04, Docker Compose, PostgreSQL, Memcached, Hocuspocus, Nginx reverse proxy, helper commands, a public IP based first launch path, and first boot automation that updates the customer specific public URL after the instance starts.

The product is useful for software teams, operations teams, consulting groups, internal IT departments, agencies, engineering groups, construction planning teams, public sector users, and organizations that want a private project management workspace inside their own AWS account. Customers can use OpenProject to organize projects, manage work packages, plan releases, coordinate agile boards, document project knowledge, track meetings, and manage work across teams.

Code Creator adds deployment value by packaging the stack for immediate AWS launch, adding helper commands for status, logs, restart, backup, and URL discovery, and including customer instructions for first time users. The AMI is built to reduce setup friction and give customers a practical starting point for self hosted project management on AWS.

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.
