Koha Theme Builder™ helps you improve the public catalogue without maintaining custom Koha template changes. Standard includes 5 professionally designed theme families, 8 activated presets, and 5 preview-only presets.
Use Page Builder to update homepage content, Page Settings to manage page-level options, and Design Studio to adjust colours, typography, and spacing. These tools are available from the Koha staff interface, so library staff can make common visual changes without server access.
A complete Koha ILS Koha includes cataloguing, circulation, holds, acquisitions, serials, interlibrary loans, Z39.50, SIP2, reports, a web-based staff interface, and a public catalogue. Koha Cloud Standard is preconfigured for AWS and designed for libraries that want a practical production deployment.
Deploy on AWS Launch Koha using the preconfigured AMI and KohaSupport setup guidance. The environment runs in your AWS account, giving you visibility into AWS infrastructure costs and control over server sizing.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the Standard Tier software, billed through AWS Marketplace based on the ARM64 EC2 instance you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type and size, so pricing scales with the compute capacity you choose. Smaller sizes like t4g.nano suit light use, while larger sizes such as x8g.metal-48xl handle heavier demand. You pick one instance type per running deployment. AWS infrastructure charges for servers, storage, and networking are billed separately by AWS and are not part of this software rate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The hourly rate is the KohaSupport software licence, charged per running ARM64 EC2 instance. It gives you the full Koha library system with unlimited records, automated backups, custom domain support, and logging. The server, storage, and networking that run the instance are billed separately by AWS.
The software licence meters running time only. When an instance is stopped, the hourly software charge stops accruing. Underlying AWS storage may still incur separate fees while data is retained. You can turn off non-production environments to reduce hours billed.
You pick one ARM64 instance type per running deployment, and the hourly software rate follows that choice. Moving to a larger size raises the hourly rate; a smaller size lowers it. The change applies to the new running instance, not retroactively. AWS infrastructure charges also shift with the size.
