Overview
Matomo Private Web Analytics Self Hosted Server by Code Creator provides a ready to launch private analytics server for businesses, developers, agencies, educators, and teams that want website analytics while keeping control of their data.
This AMI deploys latest Matomo on Ubuntu using Docker Compose, MariaDB, and an Nginx reverse proxy.
The server includes Code Creator first boot automation that generates fresh database credentials for each new instance, writes customer setup instructions, starts the Matomo stack, and provides helper commands for URLs, service status, logs, restarts, backups, archiving status, and optional HTTPS setup.
Hourly background archiving is preconfigured to improve report performance after the Matomo setup wizard is completed. Matomo recommends hourly auto archiving for better report processing on active sites.
Customers can launch the AMI, wait about 60 to 90 seconds, open the public IP in a browser, complete the Matomo setup wizard, create their own Matomo administrator account, add a website, and begin collecting analytics. This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.
Highlights
