Overview
The CASK Implementation and Onboarding engagement takes your deployment from signed contract to an accepted, production-ready platform running entirely inside your own AWS account. CASK is a multi-tenant workshop and aftersales management platform for automotive dealer networks, covering appointments, service orders and job cards, technician and bay scheduling, parts and inventory, invoicing, and customer communications. This service is delivered remotely by the PlinthosLab delivery team as a fixed-fee, milestone-based engagement, with your cloud and platform team performing the deployment actions inside your own account.
The engagement follows a defined runbook with a verifiable exit condition at every step: entitlement verification and deployment intake; generation of your onboarding pack, including a unique support-access credential and a pinned, hash-verified release manifest; a pre-deployment network readiness review covering VPC and subnet selection, DNS, and TLS certificates; guided AWS CloudFormation deployment of the platform stack; provisioning of your initial dealer tenants with administrator access, module entitlements, and customer-communication routing; and a joint acceptance test covering role-based login, an end-to-end service order, deployment segment policy enforcement, and country-correct tax and invoice rendering. You finish with a signed acceptance checklist, a named support channel, a documented upgrade path for future releases, and knowledge transfer so your team can onboard additional dealers without a further engagement.
This professional service relates to the CASK - Automotive Dealer Workshop and Aftersales Platform container product, available in AWS Marketplace, which is deployed under a Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) model into the customer's own AWS account. The deployment provisioned during this engagement uses AWS services including AWS CloudFormation, Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR), Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Amazon ElastiCache for Redis, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Certificate Manager, Amazon Route 53, AWS Secrets Manager, Amazon S3, and Amazon CloudWatch. All infrastructure remains owned, controlled, and paid for by the customer. PlinthosLab does not hold credentials to the customer's AWS account, and any support access is limited to an optional, customer-deployed, read-only IAM role that the customer can revoke at any time.
Highlights
- Your AWS credentials never leave your account. Every deployment action runs inside your own AWS account, and our only access is an optional, read-only IAM role that you deploy yourself, gated by a unique external ID, and can revoke at any time by deleting a single CloudFormation stack.
- Fixed-fee and milestone-based, not open-ended. The engagement follows a defined runbook with a verifiable exit condition at every step, from entitlement verification through guided deployment and dealer tenant provisioning to a signed acceptance checklist, so you know exactly what done looks like before you start.
- Reduced deployment risk and built-in knowledge transfer. Your platform deploys from a pinned, hash-verified release manifest, so what was tested is what runs in your account, never a mutable image tag. Your team leaves the engagement able to provision additional dealer tenants and apply future releases independently.

Vendor support
Support for this engagement is provided by the PlinthosLab delivery team. Email: support@plinthoslab.com During the engagement, the delivery team coordinates directly with your cloud and platform team and your business owner, joins the deployment sessions, and is available by email during business hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00 India Standard Time. Response targets are confirmed in your private offer. The engagement covers deployment, configuration, dealer tenant provisioning, and acceptance of the CASK platform in your AWS account.
After acceptance, ongoing product support is provided under the terms of your CASK platform subscription. You receive a named support channel and a documented upgrade path for future releases, so later releases can be applied as a standard stack update.
Custom development, additional integrations, additional countries or vehicle segments, and dealer onboarding beyond the agreed intake list are outside the scope of this engagement and are quoted separately.
