ClickHouse is a column-oriented database management system (DBMS) for online analytical processing of queries (OLAP). It processes billions of rows and tens of gigabytes of data per second. ClickHouse Cloud is the cloud offering created by the original creators of the popular open-source OLAP database ClickHouse.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing bills you through the Enterprise pricing tier using a usage-based model. Your spending is measured in ClickHouse Credits, where each billing unit equals one cent of a credit. As you run workloads, the platform meters compute, storage, and related usage, then converts that activity into credits you pay for. Costs scale with what you consume rather than a fixed seat or node count. The ClickHouse Cloud dimension identifies the Enterprise tier itself, while the ClickHouse Usage dimension tracks the credit consumption that drives your actual charges. You pay for what you use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billing unit represent in this contract?
Each unit equals one cent of a ClickHouse Credit. Credits are drawn down as you run workloads. The platform meters your compute and storage activity, then converts that usage into credits. Your charges reflect the credits consumed, so one hundred units equals one full credit.
Am I charged when my services sit idle with no active queries?
Compute scales down automatically during idle periods, and unused resources can scale to zero. You pay for what you consume, so idle compute stops accruing credit usage. Stored data still meters against your credits, since storage and compute are billed separately.
What drives credit consumption on the Enterprise tier?
Storage and compute are metered separately, then converted into credit usage. Compute scales up during load spikes and down when idle. Data transfer egress and managed data ingestion also draw down credits. Compute typically dominates for query-heavy workloads, while storage grows with retained data volume.
