Overview
The system comes with Ubuntu Desktop, Amazon DCV, and ParaView pre-installed and configured. This is an ideal workstation for visualization of datasets in an HPC cluster environment.
An NVIDIA GPU is required for the desktop environment to function. Amazon DCV is free to use on EC2. For instances that run longer than 30 days, ensure that the instance can access the DCV license from S3. See the DCV documentation for details.
