What do you like best about the product?
I really like its performance when working with large datasets, UI feels smooth and the platform scales very well too, which makes it better than most of the platforms out there. On top of that, I also like its integration with existing data and compute environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding can take some time to understand, especially the initial setup. The pricing also seems to make more sense at a larger scale. Also, comparatively, it has fewer AI features than other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scaling has been easier as our data has grown. It also reduces a lot of infrastructure management and has helped us spend more time on the actual model training.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a data storage and management platform. so we don't need to store our data into separate place for files, documents and other data, we can place all data into one platform and access parallel as a team. As our data grows we don't need to transfer our data to another platform, this platform scales according to our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its initial setup can be complex. For smaller organizations and budget-sensitive projects, it can be costly, otherwise nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Don't think to manage large scale data on different platforms. We can manage all files, documents, data related to AI/ML on a single platform and access them easily.

What I like most about VAST Data is how technically ambitious the company is. It isn’t just addressing a traditional storage problem; it’s rethinking how data infrastructure should work in an AI-driven world, and that bigger-picture approach really comes through.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I find challenging about VAST Data is that its technology and overall product architecture are fairly complex, which can make it harder to fully understand at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VAST Data is addressing some of the core infrastructure challenges that come with AI and large-scale data. For me, the biggest benefit is the chance to work on technically demanding problems at scale, which makes the work both engaging and meaningful.

VAST Data solves the problem of complex multi-tiered storage silos by consolidating all our structured and unstructured data into one high-performance namespace. This directly benefits us by eliminating the manual overhead of moving data between tiers, radically simplifying our operations while giving us the speed of all-flash storage at an affordable scale.
