What do you like best about the product?
Pentera really impresses me with its ability to deliver "real attack results" and provide "remediation" guidance. It eliminates guessing and highlights what truly needs patching or reconfiguring, allowing me to focus on the important things. I also value how it tests our security guidelines and hardening processes, indicating whether they're configured correctly or if they need fixes, steering us away from just following generic best practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports for the system team that needs to fix issues could be improved. I want a report that shows issues and remediation in a way that's easy to export and understand for the system team. Additionally, setting up for layer 2 attacks requires a some networking configuration and interfaces, which complicates things a bit, but without that, for just layer3 attacks it’s pretty simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pentera helps us focus on what really matters by showing what needs patching or reconfiguring through real attack simulations. It tests our security guidelines and supports our SOC team, offering remediation suggestions so we address critical issues instead of generic best practices.

What do you like best about the product?
Pentera's ability to safely emulate real-world attack vectors within production environments is its strongest asset. It shifts the paradigm from theoretical vulnerability management - relying heavily on CVSS - to evidence-based exposure validation. The automated kill-chain visualization directly highlights structural choke points in the network, allowing us to prioritize remediation exactly where it breaks the attacker's path, rather than wasting hours chasing false positives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I have not experienced any significant drawbacks in the core functionality or day-to-day operations. The only notable limitation I've encountered is the lack of native support for a specific cloud platform within our architecture. Expanding their validation coverage to include a wider array of specialized cloud environments would close this gap and make the platform truly comprehensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously struggled with vulnerability overload and alert fatigue, spending too much time patching systems based on theoretical risk models. Pentera addresses this by safely validating which vulnerabilities can actually compromise our specific architecture. Now, rather than managing a huge, unfocused list of theoretical risks, we have an evidence-based remediation plan. The biggest business benefit has been operational efficiency: we’ve shifted our engineering and SOC resources away from chasing false positives and toward fixing critical structural flaws, which has led to a measurable drop in our Mean Time to Remediation (MTTR).

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the speed and results of Pentera's scanning feature. It's something that I can't achieve on my own, and it helps me uncover a lot of findings on servers that aren't updated. The initial setup was very easy, and I'd definitely recommend it to others, rating it a solid 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our SOC team had to spend time solving a problem because every event from Pentera scanning came through without any parameter, which was frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pentera helps me find issues on our servers like outdated systems and SMB signing problems with speed and results I can't achieve on my own.

What do you like best about the product?
The biggest win for us is being able to test on demand. We no longer wait for the annual pentest to learn where we're exposed. We run assessments regularly, fix issues, and immediately retest to confirm the fix worked
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take my job one day. the PT capabilities are great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attack paths, not just vulnerability lists. Seeing how an attacker could chain [e.g. weak credentials, misconfigurations, and lateral movement] into [e.g. domain admin] helped us focus on what's actually exploitable rather than chasing every CVSS score.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Pentera for automating penetration testing, which really helps in reducing the manual work for our team members. I particularly like its capabilities and the user interface, which makes it easier to navigate. I also value specific features like the blackbox and ADPA feature, which contribute positively to my experience with the product. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy, especially with the help of the integration team from Pentera.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ransomware feature needs a little more work. I encountered a few bugs where the attack left some files that should not be left, which was a bit of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pentera to automate penetration testing, reducing manual work for our team.
