Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. The t2, t3, and t3a options are general-purpose instances. They scale from medium through 2xlarge, with hourly rates rising as you add CPU and memory. The g5 options are GPU instances for heavier AI workloads. These range from xlarge up to 16xlarge, with rates rising as you add GPU and compute capacity. You pick one instance type per deployment and pay only for the hours it runs. No upfront commitment applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each name is an EC2 instance size. The t-series options are general-purpose, using CPU and memory for standard workloads. The g5 options add GPU hardware for heavier AI tasks. You pick one type per deployment, and that choice sets your hourly rate.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance accrues no software charge. You may still owe underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the hourly meter tracks running time only.
Each deployment runs the LibreChat AI software with an Nginx reverse proxy and added security features. These include a host firewall, log collection, automated updates, and monitoring. The same software stack runs on every instance type; only compute capacity and hourly rate change.
