Overview
This test product is a subset of the PubChemRDF data published by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. The original data has been transformed from RDF text-based encodings into Header-Dictionary-Triples (HDT). The transformation from a text to binary format includes creating a complete data index. In addition, optimized compression has been applied. RDF text-based encodings must be indexed and bulk loaded for efficient querying by triple-store databases. With the indexing and compression performed already, this data product can be queried directly, bypassing the need to perform bulk-loading operations. As a result, analysis workflows can be executed more efficiently by eliminating bulk loading operations and improving data transfer and read speed. These advantages lead to computing resource cost savings and faster time to results versus direct use of the original data.
