Hydrolix is a fully-managed SaaS solution that gives you turnkey observability for your Amazon CloudFront, AWS Elemental and Amazon WAF logs. Hydrolix dashboard visualizations come pre-built for immediate visibility into your content distribution and security services, but also allow you to customize them as you see fit. Amazon CloudFront real-time logs contain over 60 available fields of content delivery information which provide a wealth of data so you can better understand and monitor delivery of your digital experiences. Amazon WAF ACL logs allow you to see critical security events for the rules that are protecting your digital experiences. Amazon CloudFront helps with measuring and improving the delivery performance of your content. Amazon Elemental provides metrics to understand your video streaming quality. Hydrolix can ingest Amazon CloudFront, AWS Elemental and Amazon WAF logs so that you have real-time visibility into performance and security insights in one unified view.
Once ingested, Hydrolix fully indexes and stores all of your logs in your own S3 storage bucket with ultra-high compression rates, resulting in both a cost effective and ultra-low query latency storage of your data. And because they are stored in your AWS account in the region you choose, the log data will naturally be in compliance with your security, privacy and data sovereignty policies.
Hydrolix for AWS includes:
- Real-time streaming ingest of all your Amazon CloudFront, Amazon Elemental and AWS WAF ACL log data at any scale.
- Support for Amazon Kinesis and Amazon Data Firehose streaming ingest methods.
- Pre-built dashboards that can be customized to create your own visualizations. You can also use 3rd party visualization tools with Hydrolix.
- At least 15 months of log retention by default, which can be adjusted to meet your needs.
- High-density compression reduces your storage footprint and your S3 bill so you can keep your data long-term for analytics, compliance, and auditing. Storage in your own AWS account gives you full control and ownership of your data. Note: Charges for S3 storage, Amazon Kinesis and/or Amazon Data Firehose usage will appear separately from your Hydrolix marketplace transaction on your AWS bill and are your responsibility.
- Sub-second query performance no matter how many logs are stored. Simple and predictable usage-based billing based on the amount of data ingested is billed per GB ingested after the 1 TB per month minimum.
Hydrolix for AWS is also flexible and can be deployed in different configurations via the AWS Marketplace Private Offer mechanism including a dedicated compute cluster for you in the Hydrolix AWS account or a managed deployment entirely within your AWS account.
