You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run. The software itself carries no separate license fee; billing tracks your chosen instance type. Options span several instance families: T-series burstable types for light or variable workloads, M-series balanced types, C-series compute-focused types, R-series memory-focused types, and I-series storage-focused types. Within each family, sizes step up from nano and micro through medium, large, xlarge, and 2xlarge. As you pick a size with more CPU, memory, or storage, the hourly rate rises. You can start, stop, and scale as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software rate. Underlying AWS storage for the instance volume may still bill separately, but the software licence tracks running time. Restart the instance and hourly billing resumes.
The software itself carries no license fee. Your hourly charge covers the preconfigured appliance running on your chosen EC2 instance. It bundles the PHP framework, database frontend, mail transfer agent, and web-based administration, ready to run. You also get bundled backup and support services after registering with the vendor Hub.
Billing follows the instance type you run. If you switch to a size with more CPU, memory, or storage, the new hourly rate applies from that point. You are not charged two rates at once. Only the running instance meters, so scaling up or down changes your ongoing hourly cost.

Usage instructions
System initialization
After launch, browse to http://<Public_DNS>/ and complete the first-boot configuration, or connect by SSH using the key pair selected at launch.
Operating system access
Connect using SSH as the Linux user admin with the selected EC2 key pair. Run privileged commands with sudo; this provides full OS-level administration.
Application access
Open http://<Public_DNS>/ in a web browser. The application may redirect to HTTPS after configuration.
