Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size across several families. General-purpose options include the t2, t3, m3, m4, and m5 types. Compute-optimized options cover the c3, c4, and c5 types. Memory-optimized options cover the r3, r4, and r5 types. Sizes range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Larger instances carry more compute or memory, so their hourly rate is higher. You choose one instance type and pay only for the hours it runs.

The hourly rate covers the CodeIgniter software running on your chosen EC2 instance type. You pay for each hour the instance runs. Standard AWS infrastructure costs, such as compute, storage, and data transfer, are billed by AWS separately from this software charge.
