Overview
CivicDataForge Government Evidence Gateway is hosted software that retrieves, normalizes and packages official-source evidence for applications and AI agents. Submit a bounded request for a supported property, company identifier, facility or geographic area and receive structured JSON with source references, observation times and receipt hashes.
The gateway brings task routing, authenticated access, request deduplication and usage receipts into one API. Supported workflows include U.S. short-term-rental permit evidence, India company evidence, restricted-party screening evidence, EPA facility evidence and Earth-observation scene metadata. Each response preserves the scope of the request and the available source evidence.
Use the HTTPS API or MCP integration in your existing workflow. Evidence distinguishes retrieved records from unknown or unavailable facts; it does not substitute retrieval time for the publisher's record date. Source coverage and field availability vary by jurisdiction. Screening and property evidence support review rather than making legal, credit or safety determinations.

Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One evidence request is one completed evidence packet returned by the gateway. Each packet routes a single bounded input, such as a property address, company identifier, restricted-party name, facility ID, or Earth-observation area, into one source-bound result with receipts. Failed calls and identical retries are not billed.
You are not billed for failed calls. A run that cannot evaluate the official source completely fails rather than returning a false result. Explicit unavailable, incomplete, or review states may still return as usable packets. Identical retries that read an existing run are not charged again.
No. Billing uses one unit: the successful evidence request. Each completed packet is charged the same way regardless of which supported workflow it routes to. Your cost scales only with the number of successful packets returned, not with the task type you submit.

Vendor refund policy
Failed requests and identical retries are not billed. For incorrect, duplicate or undelivered usage charges, email civicdataforgehq@gmail.com with your AWS account ID and request IDs within 30 days. We will investigate and refund confirmed billing errors or undelivered paid requests through AWS Marketplace. Source-data gaps disclosed in delivered evidence are not a completeness guarantee.

Usage instructions
After subscribing, choose Set up your account in AWS Marketplace. The registration page verifies your AWS subscription and issues a CivicDataForge API key. Store the key securely: it is shown once.
Connect your MCP client to https://civicdataforge.pages.dev/mcp and send Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_CIVICDATAFORGE_KEY>. Use the civicdataforge--civicdataforge-evidence-gateway tool for this subscription. Other direct Apify tools require a separate customer-owned Apify token and are not included.
The gateway returns structured evidence with source links and retrieval timestamps. Consult https://civicdataforge.pages.dev/agents for supported inputs and coverage. Missing or unavailable source facts are reported explicitly. Successful bounded evidence requests are metered through AWS Marketplace. Identical retries are not billed twice.
