    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Accessing the Instance using SSH:

    1. Open Terminal: Launch the terminal or command prompt on your local machine.

    2. Use SSH Command: Use the SSH (Secure Shell) command to connect to the instance. Replace your-key.pem with the actual name of your key file and your-ip-address with the public IP address of the instance.

      ssh -i your-key.pem ec2-user@your-ip-address

      Make sure the key file (your-key.pem) is in the same directory from where you run the command.

    3. Confirm Connection: A security prompt will appear, asking if you want to continue connecting. Type "yes" and press Enter to confirm.

      The authenticity of host 'your-ip-address' can't be established. ECDSA key fingerprint is ... Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?
    4. Logged In: You are now logged in as the 'ec2-user' on the instance.

    Remember to close the SSH connection once you're done working on the instance:

    exit

    Note: Ensure your key file's permissions are secure, accessible only to the owner:

    chmod 400 your-key.pem

    These steps will guide you through securely accessing the instance using SSH and logging in as the 'ec2-user' with the specified key.
