Overview
WHO NEEDS AN EU OR UK REPRESENTATIVE Companies established outside the EU that offer goods or services to people in the EU, or monitor their behaviour (analytics, tracking, profiling), must appoint an EU representative under Article 27 of the GDPR. The UK GDPR has the same rule for the United Kingdom. Products sold to EU consumers, including through Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify or TikTok Shop, also need an EU Responsible Person under Article 16 of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), whose name and address must appear on the product or listing.
WHAT REP27 DOES REP27 acts as your GDPR Article 27 representative in the EU, in the UK or both, and as your GPSR EU Responsible Person. We receive requests from data subjects and from data protection and market surveillance authorities, forward them to you in your language and keep the 30-day deadline in view. Standard plans also keep your Article 30 record of processing on file, as the GDPR requires the representative to do.
HOW IT WORKS
- Subscribe here on AWS Marketplace and choose your plan (EU, UK, EU + UK, or GPSR).
- Complete a short designation form, about 5 minutes, and sign electronically.
- A person reviews the file. Once approved you receive the signed designation letter, a certificate anyone can verify online with a QR code, and the exact text to add to your privacy policy or product labels.

For GDPR, pick a territory first — EU, UK, or EU plus UK — then a tier. Base covers up to 10 forwarded requests yearly; Standard adds unlimited requests and record-keeping; Multi adds GPSR and authorised representative roles. For GPSR, pick a territory, then scale by brand count: Solo covers one brand, Brand up to five, House unlimited brands. All terms run 12 months with configurable quantity.

A forwarded request is an inquiry from a data subject or supervisory authority that the representative passes on to you, in your language, with the 30-day deadline noted. Base tiers include up to 10 per year. For higher volumes, the Standard tiers remove this cap and keep your Art. 30 record.
No. GPSR plans scale by brand count, not product count. Solo covers one brand, Brand up to five brands, House unlimited brands. Every plan covers unlimited products on each brand. There is no per-product or per-SKU charge.
The EU + UK dimensions issue two designations under one contract — one signed by the EU entity, one by the UK entity — covering both regulators. Buying EU-only and UK-only means two separate contracts and two renewal dates. The combined option aligns both on a single renewal.

Vendor refund policy
Cancel at any time from your AWS Marketplace subscriptions: the contract is simply not renewed at the end of the 12 months, with no penalty. If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and before your designation is approved, contact info@gdprrepresentative.com for a full refund. For any billing question write to info@gdprrepresentative.com ; we reply within one working day.
