Powerful Automation and Compliance Reporting That Streamlines AD Management

    Reviewed on Jan 20, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about ManageEngine ADManager Plus is its strong automation and reporting capabilities. It significantly cuts down on manual Active Directory work such as user provisioning, group management, and password resets. The interface is intuitive, and the customizable compliance reports make audits straightforward. Secure delegation also allows non-admin users to take care of routine tasks without added risk, which saves time and improves overall efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about ManageEngine ADManager Plus is that the interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming at first, especially for new users. Some of the more advanced features take time to learn, and in very large environments I’ve noticed occasional performance slowdowns. I also find that reporting customization could be more intuitive, and the mobile support feels limited compared to competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine ADManager Plus helps simplify Active Directory administration by automating user provisioning and deprovisioning, along with group management, across hybrid environments. It eliminates the need for manual scripting, reduces the chance of errors, and offers ready-made compliance and audit reports. For us, this translates into time savings, stronger security, faster onboarding, and more consistent access governance, all with minimal administrative effort for modern enterprise IT teams globally.
