Cloudformation will guide you to choose the VPC , Subnet and Secrity groups and deploy the ec2 in specific Availability Zones .
The CDC data will be stored under /cdc_data mount point
After launching the AMI, connect to the instance using SSH with the key pair specified at launch.
Verify the instance is running and reachable on the required ports as defined in the security group.
Log in to the instance and navigate to the application directory under /u01/app/skyliftai/home
Check if the software is running using the aictl status command
cd /u01/app/skyliftai/home ./aitcl status
you can stop the process using ./aictl stop and start the process using ./aictl start .
Start the service using the provided startup script. cd /u01/app/skyliftai/home ./aitcl start
The url can be accessed using the Public or Private IP and the port displayed in the status output
Validate the deployment by accessing the application health endpoint.

Usage instructions
Use the Cloudformation Template and deploy the agent in your own VPC and subnet . Cloudformation will guide you to choose the VPC , Subnet and Secrity groups and deploy the ec2 in specific Availability Zones . You can also choose to deploy the CloudWatch logs and send SNS notifications

To login to the root (Administrator) user use the below command
sudo su -
To login to the product user use the below command
sudo su - skylift
Log in to the skylift user and navigate to the application directory under /u01/app/skyliftai/home
Check if the software is running using the aictl status command
cd /u01/app/skyliftai/home ./aitcl status
you can stop the process using cd /u01/app/skyliftai/home ./aictl stop
Start the service using the provided startup script. cd /u01/app/skyliftai/home ./aitcl start
The url can be accessed using the Public or Private IP and the port displayed in the status output . The url can also be found in the output of the cloud formation stack.
