Add a regional CDN to your Amazon CloudFront distribution. Mediatriple's network serves your viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, every other country stays on CloudFront. Route 53 geolocation routing in your account splits the traffic, health checks fall back to CloudFront automatically, packages are billed on your AWS invoice.
CDNTR Multi-CDN for Amazon CloudFront, from cdn.com.tr, puts a regional CDN next to your CloudFront distribution. Amazon CloudFront stays at the core: it remains the source of your content and keeps serving every viewer outside the regions you route to the regional network. The first regional network is Mediatriple's, with edges in Turkey and Europe; it serves your viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The split happens in Amazon Route 53 in your own AWS account, so the routing stays under your control.
How it works
Subscribe in AWS Marketplace and connect the subscription to a cdn.com.tr account. Sign in or register on the English setup page.
In the cdn.com.tr panel, choose the CloudFront distribution and the hostnames. A read-only check of the distribution shows which paths are cached on the regional network and which are passed through to CloudFront.
Launch the Quick Launch CloudFormation stack in your account. It turns each selected record into a Route 53 geolocation set in a single change: viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Africa get delivery names on the regional network, all other viewers keep your CloudFront record. You can also limit the routing to Turkey. There is no moment without an answer.
As soon as the certificates are issued and the health checks are healthy, those viewers are served by the regional network.
The regional network fetches content from your CloudFront distribution and uses your hostname for TLS and the Host header, so your cache behaviors, origin request policies and origin access settings keep working as they do today. AWS WAF on your distribution inspects the requests the regional network sends to CloudFront. Requests it answers from cache do not reach CloudFront; its own WAF rules inspect them when you turn them on for your account.

The geographic restrictions of your distribution, enforced on the regional network as well.
Hourly usage and subscription status in the cdn.com.tr panel.
Support in English and Turkish.
Built for
Video segments (HLS and DASH, live and on demand), static assets, images, software and game downloads, and any cacheable content with a large audience in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East or Africa.
Safe by default
Route 53 health checks watch every delivery endpoint of the regional network. If it becomes unavailable, if traffic goes beyond the capacity configured for your account, or if your subscription is suspended or ends, the health checks fail and Route 53 answers those viewers with your CloudFront distribution again. Deleting the stack writes your original records back.
Requirements
An Amazon CloudFront distribution that serves the hostnames.
The DNS zone of those hostnames hosted in Amazon Route 53 in your AWS account.
Permission to deploy a CloudFormation stack that creates an IAM role with read-only CloudFront access, Route 53 records and health checks, and an AWS WAF IP set.
Behaviors that CloudFront has to evaluate itself, such as signed URLs and signed cookies, header-based cache keys and edge functions that change responses, are passed through to CloudFront.
AWS charges
This product extends the functionality of Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Route 53 and has very limited utility without them. Both are billed by AWS, separately from your AWS Marketplace transaction: this includes CloudFront data transfer for the content the regional network fetches from your distribution and Route 53 health checks and queries. You pay those AWS infrastructure charges separately.
Large volumes

Highlights
Amazon CloudFront at the core: Route 53 geolocation routing sends viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Africa to Mediatriple's regional network. Every other country keeps your CloudFront distribution, unchanged.
Safe by default: Route 53 health checks return those viewers to CloudFront automatically if the regional network is unavailable or your subscription ends. Deleting the stack restores your original DNS records.
One stack, one bill: a Quick Launch stack sets up routing, health checks and certificates. Invalidations and image optimization included, charges on your AWS bill. More CDN providers on request.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pick one monthly package based on how much traffic the regional network delivers to viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Packages run from 1.5 TB per month up to 1 PB per month, so you choose the one matching your expected monthly volume. Each package carries a set monthly fee, and a 12-month term costs ten times the monthly price. If delivery goes above your chosen package, you pay a separate per-GB rate for the extra gigabytes. There are no request charges on top of these dimensions.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What traffic counts toward my monthly package and triggers the per-GB overage charge?
Only traffic the regional network delivers to viewers in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa counts. Viewers elsewhere stay on your Amazon CloudFront distribution and bill separately. When delivery to the routed regions goes above your package, you pay the per-GB rate. There are no request charges.
Are there AWS charges beyond this package and the per-GB overage?
Yes. The package fee and per-GB overage cover the regional network only. AWS bills you separately for Amazon CloudFront data transfer when the edges fetch content from your distribution, plus Amazon Route 53 health checks and queries. All charges appear on your AWS invoice.
What happens to my bill if the regional network becomes unavailable or I cancel?
Route 53 health checks send those regions back to CloudFront automatically if the network is unavailable, traffic exceeds configured capacity, or your subscription ends. Your monthly package fee still applies for the term, but the SLA offers service credits against the package fee when monthly availability falls below targets.
