To verify the Scipy installation, follow the commands below:
a) To see the list of directories: ls b) SciPy is installed in the virtual environment "virtual_env" with all the required dependancies (numpy matplotlib ipython jupyter pandas sympy nose). c) To activate the virtual environment "virtual_env": source virtual_env/bin/activate d) To check the installed version of scipy: pip show scipy or python3 -m pip show scipy e) To check the installed version of numpy: pip show numpy or python3 -m pip show numpy f) To check the installed version of numpy: pip show pandas or python3 -m pip show pandas g) To check the installed version o0.1f numpy: pip show sympy or python3 -m pip show sympy h) Open a Python shell by typing python3. Once the Python shell is open, type the following commands:
- import scipy
- scipy.version : To check the installed version of scipy.
i) To come out of the virtual environment: deactivate
- Below are the minimum external resources subscriber needs to have to use this product:
- An Internet Connection is required in order for this product to function as expected.
- We recommend keeping your crucial data in a custom made encrypted EBS in order to save from termination in future.
