Overview
Emvigo Probe provides a simple, self-hosted monitoring solution for tracking the availability and health of websites, APIs, network services, and endpoints. Powered by Uptime Kuma, Probe is packaged as a ready-to-run container that can be deployed on a Docker-compatible environment while keeping monitoring data within your own infrastructure.
Probe supports HTTP and HTTPS monitoring, API endpoints, TCP services, DNS checks, response-time tracking, SSL certificate monitoring, service status pages, and configurable notifications. Administrators can add and manage monitors through an intuitive web interface, review historical availability, and receive notifications when monitored services become unavailable or recover.
Emvigo Probe is designed for DevOps teams, IT operations teams, developers, managed service providers, and organizations that need straightforward website and service monitoring without requiring a separate hosted monitoring platform or AWS account-level permissions. The container uses persistent storage so monitoring configuration and historical data can be retained across container restarts and upgrades.
Highlights
- Self-hosted uptime monitoring: Monitor websites, APIs, DNS endpoints, TCP services, response times, and SSL certificates from an environment you control.
- Simple container deployment: Deploy Probe on a Docker-compatible environment with persistent storage and manage monitors through an easy-to-use web interface.
- Alerts and service visibility: Track service availability, review monitoring history, configure notifications, and publish status pages for monitored services.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
